እንዲህም አላቸው ሰይጣንን እንደ መብረቅ ከሰማይ ሲወድቅ አየሁ።
and he said unto them, i beheld satan as lightning fall from heaven.

ከአሁን በፊት አንዳንዶች ሰይጣንን እንዲከተሉ ፈቀቅ ብለዋልና።
for some are already turned aside after satan.

እነርሱንም ወደ እርሱ ጠርቶ በምሳሌ አላቸው። ሰይጣን ሰይጣንን ሊያወጣው እንዴት ይችላል?
and he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, how can satan cast out satan?

« አባቴ ሆይ ! ሰይጣንን አትግገዛ ፡ ፡ ሰይጣን ለአልረሕማን አመጸኛ ነውና ፡ ፡
" o my father ! serve not satan : for satan is a rebel against ( allah ) most gracious .

የአደም ልጆች ሆይ ! ሰይጣንን አትገዙ ፤ እርሱ ለእናንተ ግልጽ ጠላት ነውና በማለት ወደእናንተ አላዘዝኩምን ?
" did i not enjoin on you , o ye children of adam , that ye should not worship satan ; for that he was to you an enemy avowed ? -

የሰላምም አምላክ ሰይጣንን ከእግራችሁ በታች ፈጥኖ ይቀጠቅጠዋል። የጌታችን የኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ጸጋ ከእናንተ ጋር ይሁን።
and the god of peace shall bruise satan under your feet shortly. the grace of our lord jesus christ be with you. amen.

ከአልረሕማን ግሣጼ ( ከቁርኣን ) የሚደናበርም ሰው ለእርሱ ሰይጣንን እናስጠጋለን ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ እርሱ ለእርሱ ቁራኛ ነው ፡ ፡
and he whose sight is dim to the remembrance of the beneficent , we assign unto him a devil who becometh his comrade ;

በእርግጥ አጠማቸዋለሁም ፡ ፡ ( ከንቱን ) አስመኛቸዋለሁም ፡ ፡ አዛቸውምና የእንስሶችን ጆሮዎች ይተለትላሉ ፡ ፡ አዛቸውምና የአላህን ፍጥረት ይለውጣሉ ፤ ( ያለውን ይከተላሉ ) ፡ ፡ ከአላህም ሌላ ሰይጣንን ረዳት አድርጎ የሚይዝ ሰው ግልጽ ክስረትን በአርግጥ ከሰረ ፡ ፡
" i will mislead them , and i will create in them false desires ; i will order them to slit the ears of cattle , and to deface the ( fair ) nature created by allah . " whoever , forsaking allah , takes satan for a friend , hath of a surety suffered a loss that is manifest .
