يا رب قتلوا انبياءك وهدموا مذابحك وبقيت انا وحدي وهم يطلبون نفسي.
lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and i am left alone, and they seek my life.

‎العصفور ايضا وجد بيتا والسنونة عشّا لنفسها حيث تضع افراخها مذابحك يا رب الجنود ملكي والهي‎.
yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, o lord of hosts, my king, and my god.

فقال غرت غيرة للرب اله الجنود لان بني اسرائيل قد تركوا عهدك ونقضوا مذابحك وقتلوا انبياءك بالسيف فبقيت انا وحدي وهم يطلبون نفسي ليأخذوها.
and he said, i have been very jealous for the lord god of hosts: because the children of israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and i, even i only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.
