na siku watakapo letwa makafiri motoni wakaambiwa: je! haya si kweli?

na ili awapambanue walio kuwa wanaafiki, wakaambiwa: njooni mpigane katika njia ya mwenyezi mungu au lindeni. wakasema: tungeli jua kuna kupigana bila ya shaka tungeli kufuateni.
and ascertain the hypocrites. [when] they were told: ‘come, fight in the way of allah, or defend [yourselves], they said, ‘if we knew any fighting, we would have surely followed you.’
