en annan sak som jag skulle vilja understryka- eftersom jag kommer från italien och alltså från ett medelhavsland - är att försöket att minska subventionerna till tobaksplantager är en mycket känslig fråga som jag än en gång skulle vilja uppmuntra kommissionen att fundera över, eftersom det faktiskt handlar om tusentals arbetstillfällen, både direkt och indirekt.
i would stress another point: i come from italy, which is a mediterranean country, and i would like to emphasise that the attempt to reduce subsidies for tobacco plantations is a very delicate issue. i would ask the commission to think again for thousands of jobs are directly or indirectly jeopardised.
