the bedouin arabs surpass all in unbelief and hypocrisy and are most likely to be unaware of the limits prescribed by allah in what he has revealed to his messenger. allah is all-knowing, all-wise.

say to those who remained behind of the bedouins, "you will be called to [face] a people of great military might; you may fight them, or they will submit. so if you obey, allah will give you a good reward; but if you turn away as you turned away before, he will punish you with a painful punishment."
あと居残った砂漠のアラブたちに言ってやるがいい。「今にあなたがたは，強大な勇武の民に対して（戦うために）召集されよう。あなたがたが戦い抜くのか，またはかれらが服従するかのいずれかである。だがこの命令に従えば，アッラーは見事な報奨をあなたがたに与えよう。だがもし以前背いたように背き去るならば，かれは痛ましい懲罰であなたがたを処罰されよう。」
