あなたがたは斎戒の夜，妻と交わることを許される。かの女らはあなたがたの衣であり，あなたがたはまたかの女らの衣である。アッラーはあなたがたが自ら欺いているのを知っておられ，不憫におもわれ，あなたがたを許された。だからかの女らと交わり，アッラーがあなたがたのため，定められたところに従え。また自糸と黒糸の見分けられる黎明になるまで食べて飲め。その後は日暮れまで斎戒を全うしなさい。マスジドに御籠りしている間，かの女らに交わってはならない。これはアッラーの（定められた）掟だから，かの女に近付いてはならない。このようにアッラーは，人びとに印を説き明かされる。恐らくかれらは主を畏れるであろう。
