འདྲི་ཞིབ་བྱས་ཟིན་པའི་གནས་ཡུལ་ཞིག་ཏུ་སྐྱོད་པ

we must go warn the king of aṅga.”
བདག་ཅག་ཨང་གའི་རྒྱལ་པོའི་གན་དུ་དོང་སྟེ་སྦྲན་པར་བྱའོ་སྙམ་ནས་

therefore, i shall go elsewhere.”
ཁོ་བོ་གཞན་དུ་འགྲོའོ། །

སུ་ཞིག་གིས་བདག་རབ་ཏུ་འབྱིན་པར་འགྱུར།

“noble one, i seek to go forth”;
འཕགས་པ་བདག་རབ་ཏུ་འབྱུང་བར་འཚལ་ལོ། །

go forth into the teachings of that very blessed one
བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དེ་ཉིད་ཀྱི་བསྟན་པ་ལ་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་ནས་

i shall go elsewhere.” he said to his wife,
བདག་གཞན་དུ་འགྲོའོ་སྙམ་ནས་དེས་ཆུང་མ་ལ་སྨྲས་པ།

if someone wishing to go forth approaches any of you,
འགའ་ཞིག་གི་གན་དུ་རབ་ཏུ་འབྱུང་བར་འདོད་པ་འོངས་ན་

allowed a follower of another tīrthika tradition to go forth.
གཞན་མུ་སྟེགས་ཅན་ཞིག་རབ་ཏུ་ཕྱུང་ཞིང

everyone we allow to go forth, they up and snatch away!
བདག་ཅག་གིས་རབ་ཏུ་ཕྱུང་བ་རྣམས་འདི་དག་གིས་འཕྲོག་པར་བྱེད་ཀྱིས། །

and go on to abandon all disturbing emotions and actualize arhatship.’
ཉོན་མོངས་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་སྤངས་པས་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཉིད་མངོན་དུ་བྱེད་པར་གྱུར་ཅིག་ཅེས་གདབ་པར་བརྩམས་སོ།

if you allow them to go forth, a serious breach occurs.”
རབ་ཏུ་འབྱིན་པར་བྱེད་ན་འགལ་ཚབས་ཅན་དུ་འགྱུར་རོ། །
