እነርሱ ( የመላእክትን ንግግር ) ከመስማት ተከለከሉ ናቸው ፡ ፡

ግን ( ወሬ ) መስማትን የሚሰርቅ ወዲየውኑ አብሪ ችቦ ይከተለዋል ፡ ፡ ( ያቃጥለዋል ) ፡ ፡

said firaun to those around him , “ are you not listening with attention ? ”
( ፈርዖንም ) በዙሪያው ላሉት ሰዎች « አትሰሙምን » አለ ፡ ፡

who , when listening to our revelations , say , " these are only ancient legends " .
አንቀጾቻችን በእርሱ ላይ በተነበቡ ጊዜ « የመጀመሪያዎቹ ሰዎች ተረቶች ናቸው » ይላል ፡ ፡

o believers , obey god and his messenger , and do not turn away from him , even as you are listening ;
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! አላህንና መልክተኛውን ታዘዙ ፡ ፡ እናንተም የምትሰሙ ስትኾኑ ከርሱ አትሽሹ ፡ ፡

he said : ' never so , go both of you with our signs ; we shall be with you , listening
( አላህ ) አለ « ተው ! ( አይነኩህም ) ፡ ፡ በተዓምራቶቻችንም ኺዱ ፡ ፡ እኛ ከእናንተ ጋር ሰሚዎች ነንና ፡ ፡

the lord replied them , " do not be afraid ; i am with you all the time , listening and seeing . "
( አላህም ) አለ « አትፍሩ ፡ ፡ እኔ በእርግጥ ከእናንተ ጋር ነኝና ፡ ፡ እሰማለሁ ፤ አያለሁም ፡ ፡

and they will say , " if only we had been listening or reasoning , we would not be among the companions of the blaze . "
« የምንሰማ ወይም የምናስብ በነበርንም ኖሮ በነዳጅ እሳት ጓዶች ውስጥ ባልኾን ነበር » ይላሉ ፡ ፡

[ allah ] said , " no . go both of you with our signs ; indeed , we are with you , listening .
( አላህ ) አለ « ተው ! ( አይነኩህም ) ፡ ፡ በተዓምራቶቻችንም ኺዱ ፡ ፡ እኛ ከእናንተ ጋር ሰሚዎች ነንና ፡ ፡

god said , " indeed not ; go both of you with our signs , we shall be with you , listening [ to your call ] .
( አላህ ) አለ « ተው ! ( አይነኩህም ) ፡ ፡ በተዓምራቶቻችንም ኺዱ ፡ ፡ እኛ ከእናንተ ጋር ሰሚዎች ነንና ፡ ፡

( they are fond of ) listening to falsehood , of devouring anything forbidden . if they do come to thee , either judge between them , or decline to interfere .
ውሸትን አዳማጮች እርምን በላተኞች ናቸው ፡ ፡ ወደአንተ ቢመጣም በመካከላቸው ፍረድ ፡ ፡ ወይም ተዋቸው ፡ ፡ ብትተዋቸውም ምንም አይጎዱህም ፡ ፡ ብትፈርድም በመካከላቸው በትክክል ፍረድ ፡ ፡ አላህ በትክክል ፈራጆችን ይወዳልና ፡ ፡

' our nation ' they said : ' we have just been listening to a book sent down after moses confirming what came before it and guiding to the truth and to astraight path .
አሉም « ሕዝቦቻችን ሆይ ! እኛ ከሙሳ በኋላ የተወረደን መጽሐፍ በፊቱ ያለውን ( መጽሐፍ ) የሚያረጋግጥ ወደ እውነትና ወደ ቀጥተኛ መንገድ የሚመራ የኾነን ሰማን ፡ ፡

' and of us some are muslims ( who have submitted to allah , after listening to this quran ) , and of us some are al-qasitun ( disbelievers those who have deviated from the right path ) ' . and whosoever has embraced islam ( i.e. has become a muslim by submitting to allah ) , then such have sought the right path . "
« እኛም ከእኛ ውስጥ ሙስሊሞች አልሉ ፡ ፡ ከእኛም ውስጥ በዳዮች አልሉ ፡ ፡ የሰለሙም ሰዎች እነዚያ ቅንን መንገድ መረጡ ፡ ፡ »
