ግን ( ወሬ ) መስማትን የሚሰርቅ ወዲየውኑ አብሪ ችቦ ይከተለዋል ፡ ፡ ( ያቃጥለዋል ) ፡ ፡

so go both of you with our signs . we shall be with you listening to everything .
( አላህ ) አለ « ተው ! ( አይነኩህም ) ፡ ፡ በተዓምራቶቻችንም ኺዱ ፡ ፡ እኛ ከእናንተ ጋር ሰሚዎች ነንና ፡ ፡

( ፈርዖንም ) በዙሪያው ላሉት ሰዎች « አትሰሙምን » አለ ፡ ፡

‹ እኛም ከእርሷ ( ወሬን ) ለማደመጥ በመቀመጫዎች እንቀመጥ ነበርን ፡ ፡ አሁን ግን የሚያዳምጥ ሰው ለእርሱ ተጠባባቂ ችቦን ያገኛል ፡ ፡

o believers , obey god and his messenger , and do not turn away from him , even as you are listening ;
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! አላህንና መልክተኛውን ታዘዙ ፡ ፡ እናንተም የምትሰሙ ስትኾኑ ከርሱ አትሽሹ ፡ ፡

and showed them signs in which there was a clear test .
ከታምራቶችም በውስጡ ግልጽ የኾነ ፈተና ያለበትን ሰጠናቸው ፡ ፡

and bestowed upon them the signs wherein lay an evident test for them .
ከታምራቶችም በውስጡ ግልጽ የኾነ ፈተና ያለበትን ሰጠናቸው ፡ ፡

he said : by no means. so go ye twain with our signs ; verily we shall be with you listening .
( አላህ ) አለ « ተው ! ( አይነኩህም ) ፡ ፡ በተዓምራቶቻችንም ኺዱ ፡ ፡ እኛ ከእናንተ ጋር ሰሚዎች ነንና ፡ ፡

do not make us a test for the faithless , and forgive us . our lord !
ጌታችን ሆይ ! ለእነዚያ ለካዱት ሰዎች መሞከሪያ አታድርገን ፡ ፡ ለእኛም ምሕረት አድርግልን ፡ ፡ ጌታችን ሆይ ! አንተ አሸናፊው ጥበበኛው አንተ ብቻ ነህ ፡ ፡
