그 후 에 선 지 자 사 무 엘 때 까 지 사 사 를 주 셨 더
and after that he gave unto them judges about the space of four hundred and fifty years, until samuel the prophet.

사 무 엘 이 백 성 의 모 든 말 을 듣 고 여 호 와 께 고 하
and samuel heard all the words of the people, and he rehearsed them in the ears of the lord.

사 무 엘 이 백 성 을 미 스 바 로 불 러 여 호 와 앞 에 모 으
and samuel called the people together unto the lord to mizpeh;

예 수 께 서 연 보 궤 를 대 하 여 앉 으 사 무 리 의 연 보 궤 에 돈 넣 는 것 을 보 실 새 여 러 부 자 는 많 이 넣 는
and jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.

사 울 의 오 기 전 날 에 여 호 와 께 서 사 무 엘 에 게 알 게 하 여 가 라 사
now the lord had told samuel in his ear a day before saul came, saying,

이 에 사 무 엘 이 돌 이 켜 사 울 을 따 라 가 매 사 울 이 여 호 와 께 경 배 하 니
so samuel turned again after saul; and saul worshipped the lord.

전 옥 이 옥 중 죄 수 를 다 요 셉 의 손 에 맡 기 므 로 그 제 반 사 무 를 요 셉 이 처 리 하
and the keeper of the prison committed to joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.

그 중 에 이 만 사 천 은 여 호 와 의 전 사 무 를 보 살 피 는 자 요 육 천 은 유 사 와 재 판 관 이
of which, twenty and four thousand were to set forward the work of the house of the lord; and six thousand were officers and judges:

이 에 모 든 족 장 과 이 스 라 엘 모 든 지 파 어 른 과 천 부 장 과 백 부 장 과 왕 의 사 무 감 독 이 다 즐 거 이 드 리
then the chief of the fathers and princes of the tribes of israel, and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers of the king's work, offered willingly,

이 새 가 삼 마 로 지 나 게 하 매 사 무 엘 이 가 로 되 ` 이 도 여 호 와 께 서 택 하 지 아 니 하 셨 느 니 라
then jesse made shammah to pass by. and he said, neither hath the lord chosen this.

가 령 사 람 이 집 을 떠 나 타 국 으 로 갈 때 에 그 종 들 에 게 권 한 을 주 어 각 각 사 무 를 맡 기 며 문 지 기 에 게 깨 어 있 으 라 명 함 과 같 으
for the son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.

여 호 와 께 서 여 룹 바 알 과 베 단 과 입 다 와 나 사 무 엘 을 보 내 사 너 희 를 너 희 사 방 원 수 의 손 에 서 건 져 내 사 너 희 로 안 전 히 거 하 게 하 셨 거
and the lord sent jerubbaal, and bedan, and jephthah, and samuel, and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every side, and ye dwelled safe.

사 무 엘 이 가 로 되 ` 온 이 스 라 엘 은 미 스 바 로 모 이 라 내 가 너 희 를 위 하 여 여 호 와 께 기 도 하 리 라' 하
then the children of israel did put away baalim and ashtaroth, and served the lord only.

내 가 무 슨 말 을 더 하 리 요 기 드 온, 바 락, 삼 손, 입 다 와 다 윗 과 사 무 엘 과 및 선 지 자 들 의 일 을 말 하 려 면 내 게 시 간 이 부 족 하 리 로
and what shall i more say? for the time would fail me to tell of gedeon, and of barak, and of samson, and of jephthae; of david also, and samuel, and of the prophets:

한 나 가 잉 태 하 고 때 가 이 르 매 아 들 을 낳 아 사 무 엘 이 라 이 름 하 였 으 니 이 는 ` 내 가 여 호 와 께 그 를 구 하 였 다' 함 이 더
and the man elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer unto the lord the yearly sacrifice, and his vow.

사 무 엘 이 가 로 되 ` 네 칼 이 여 인 들 로 무 자 케 한 것 같 이 여 인 중 네 어 미 가 무 자 하 리 라' 하 고 그 가 길 갈 에 서 여 호 와 앞 에 서 아 각 을 찍 어 쪼 개 니
and samuel said, as thy sword hath made women childless, so shall thy mother be childless among women. and samuel hewed agag in pieces before the lord in gilgal.

사 무 엘 이 사 울 에 게 이 르 되 ` 가 만 히 계 시 옵 소 서 간 밤 에 여 호 와 께 서 내 게 이 르 신 것 을 왕 에 게 말 하 리 이 다' 가 로 되 ` 말 씀 하 소 서
then samuel said unto saul, stay, and i will tell thee what the lord hath said to me this night. and he said unto him, say on.

사 울 의 숙 부 가 사 울 과 그 사 환 에 게 이 르 되 ` 너 희 가 어 디 로 갔 더 냐 ?' 사 울 이 가 로 되 ` 암 나 귀 들 을 찾 다 가 얻 지 못 하 므 로 사 무 엘 에 게 갔 었 나 이 다
and saul's uncle said unto him and to his servant, whither went ye? and he said, to seek the asses: and when we saw that they were no where, we came to samuel.

사 무 엘 이 돌 을 취 하 여 미 스 바 와 센 사 이 에 세 워 가 로 되 ` 여 호 와 께 서 여 기 까 지 우 리 를 도 우 셨 다' 하 고 그 이 름 을 [ 에 벤 에 셀 ] 이 라 하 니
and the men of israel went out of mizpeh, and pursued the philistines, and smote them, until they came under beth-car.
