แท้จริง (ข้อตักเตือนสติ) นี้มีอยู่ในคัมภีร์ก่อน ๆ มาแล้ว

and only he is the god of the heavenly creation and the god of the earthly creation; and he only is the wise, the all knowing.
และพระองค์คือพระผู้เป็นเจ้าแห่งชั้นฟ้า และพระผู้เป็นเจ้าแห่งแผ่นดิน และพระองค์เป็นเจ้าแห่งแผ่นดิน และพระองค์เป็นผู้ทรงปรีชาญาณ ผู้ทรงรอบรู้

the messengers whom we sent before you were mere mortals to whom we had sent with miracles and revelations. ask those who know about the heavenly books if you do not know about this.
และเรามิได้ส่งผู้ใดมาก่อนหน้าเจ้า นอกจากเป็นผู้ชายที่เราได้วะฮีแก่พวกเขา ดังนั้น พวกเจ้าจงถามบรรดาผู้รู้ หากพวกเจ้าไม่รู้

and the lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. amen.
องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าจะทรงโปรดช่วยข้าพเจ้าให้พ้นจากการร้ายทุกอย่าง และจะทรงคุ้มครองข้าพเจ้าไว้จนถึงอาณาจักรสวรรค์ของพระองค์ สง่าราศีจงมีแด่พระองค์สืบๆไปเป็นนิตย์ เอเม

and it is he who created the night and the day and the sun and the moon; all [heavenly bodies] in an orbit are swimming.
และพระองค์ผู้ทรงสร้างกลางคืนและกลางวัน และดวงอาทิตย์และดวงจันทร์ แต่ละหน่วยโคจรตามจักรราศี

he regulates all affairs from high to low, then they rise to perfection step by step in a (heavenly) day whose measure is a thousand years of your reckoning.
พระองค์ทรงบริหารกิจการจากชั้นฟ้าสู่แผ่นดิน แล้วมันจะขึ้นไปสู่พระองค์ในวันหนึ่งซึ่งกำหนดของมันเท่ากับหนึ่งพันปีตามที่พวกเจ้านับ

(saying): peace be unto you because ye persevered. ah, passing sweet will be the sequel of the (heavenly) home.

behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly father feedeth them. are ye not much better than they?
จงดูนกในอากาศ มันมิได้หว่าน มิได้เกี่ยว มิได้สะสมไว้ในยุ้งฉาง แต่พระบิดาของท่านทั้งหลายผู้ทรงสถิตในสวรรค์ทรงเลี้ยงนกไว้ ท่านทั้งหลายมิประเสริฐกว่านกหรื

(muhammad), tell them, "my lord has only prohibited indecent acts committed in public or in secret, all sins, unjust rebellion, considering things equal to god without any heavenly authority, and speaking for god without having any knowledge (of what he has said)."
จงกล่าวเถิด (มุฮัมมัด) ว่า แท้จริงสิ่งที่พระเจ้าของฉันทรงห้ามนั้น คือบรรดาสิ่งที่ชั่วช้าน่ารังเกียจ ทั้งเป็นสิ่งที่เปิดเผยจากมันและสิ่งที่ไม่เปิดเผย และสิ่งที่เป็นบาป และการข่มเหงรังแกโดยไม่เป็นธรรม และการที่พวกเจ้าให้เป็นภาคแก่อัลลอฮ์ซึ่งสิ่งที่พระองค์มิได้ทรงประทานหลักฐานใด ๆ ลงมาแก่สิ่งนั้น และการที่พวกเจ้ากล่าวให้ภัย แก่อัลลอฮ์ในสิ่งที่พวกเจ้าไม่รู้
