why do their rabbis and scholars not forbid them to utter sinful words or to consume what is unlawful ? their actions are indeed vile .
ቀሳውስቱና ሊቃውንቱ ከኃጢአት ንግግራቸውና እርምን ከመብላታቸው አይከለክሏቸውም ኖሮአልን ይሠሩት የነበሩት ነገር በጣም ከፋ !

i allowed you to consume the pure sustenance which we had given you but not to become rebels , lest you become subject to my wrath . whoever becomes subject to my wrath will certainly be destroyed .
እኔም ለተጸጸተ ፣ ላመነም ፣ መልካምንም ለሠራ ፣ ከዚያም ለተመራ ሰው በእርግጥ መሓሪ ነኝ ፡ ፡

the only things which are made unlawful for you are the flesh of dead animals , blood , pork and that which is not consecrated with the name of god . but in an emergency , without the intention of transgression and rebellion , ( it is not an offense for one to consume such things ) .
በእናንተ ላይ እርም ያደረገው በክትንና ደምን ፣ የአሳማንም ስጋ ፣ ያንንም ( በመታረድ ጊዜ ) በእርሱ ከአላህ ስም ሌላ የተነሳበትን ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ አመጸኛም ወሰን አላፊም ሳይኾን ( ለመብላት ) የተገደደ ሰው ( ይፈቀድለታል ) ፡ ፡ አላህ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡

and do not consume one another 's wealth unjustly or send it [ in bribery ] to the rulers in order that [ they might aid ] you [ to ] consume a portion of the wealth of the people in sin , while you know [ it is unlawful ] .
ገንዘቦቻችሁንም በመካከላችሁ በከንቱ ( ያለ አግባብ ) አትብሉ ፡ ፡ እናንተም የምታውቁ ስትኾኑ ከሰዎች ገንዘቦች ከፊልን በኃጢኣት ትበሉ ዘንድ ወደ ዳኞች አትጣሏት ፡ ፡
