and what do you know what that difficult steep is ?
ዓቀበቲቱም ( መውጣቷ ) ምን እንደኾነች ምን አሳወቀህ ?

and what do you know , what the day of decision is !
የመለያውም ቀን ምን እንደኾነ ምን አሳወቀህ ?

what is the matter with you ? how do you judge !
ለእናንተ ምን ( አስረጅ ) አላችሁ ? እንዴት ትፈርዳላችሁ ፡ ፡

and what do you know what the record of the exalted ones is ?
ዒሊዮንም ምን እንደ ኾነ ምን አሳወቀህ ?

and do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [ it ] .
እውነቱንም በውሸት አትቀላቅሉ ፡ ፡ እናንተም የምታውቁ ስትሆኑ እውነትን አትደብቁ ፡ ፡

' do you know ' he replied , ' what you did to joseph and his brother in your ignorance '
« እናንተ የማታውቁ በነበራችሁ ጊዜ በዩሱፍና በወንድሙ ላይ የሰራችሁትን ግፍ ዐወቃችሁን » አላቸው ፡ ፡

ከዚያም የፍርዱ ቀን ምን እንደኾነ ምን አሳወቀህ ?

( abraham ) said , " do you know that what you worship and what your grandfathers worshipped
« እናንተም የቀድሞዎቹ አባቶቻችሁም ( የተግገዛችሁትን ) ፡ ፡ »

o people of the scripture , why do you confuse the truth with falsehood and conceal the truth while you know [ it ] ?
« የመጽሐፉ ሰዎች ሆይ ! እውነቱን በውሸት ለምን ትቀላቅላላችሁ እውነቱንም እናንተ የምታውቁ ስትኾኑ ለምን ትደብቃላችሁ »

and certainly you know the first growth , why do you not then mind ?
የፊተኛይቱንም አፈጣጠር በእርግጥ ዐውቃችኋል ፡ ፡ አትገነዘቡምን ?
