and i saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
ብርቱም መልአክ። መጽሐፉን ይዘረጋ ዘንድ ማኅተሞቹንም ይፈታ ዘንድ የሚገባው ማን ነው? ብሎ በታላቅ ድምፅ ሲያውጅ አየሁ።

( proclaiming ) that you should worship none but god . verily i bring to you from him a message of warning and rejoicing ,
( እንዲህ በላቸው ) ፡ - « አላህን እንጂ ሌላን አትገዙ ፡ ፡ እኔ ለእናንተ ከርሱ ( የተላክሁ ) አስፈራሪና አብሳሪ ነኝ ፡ ፡ »

the hypocrites fear lest a surah should be revealed concerning them , proclaiming what is in their hearts . say : scoff ( your fill ) !
መናፍቃን በልቦቻቸው ውስጥ ያለውን ነገር የምትነግራቸው ሱራ በእነርሱ ላይ መውረዷን ይፈራሉ ፡ ፡ « አላግጡ አላህ የምትፈሩትን ሁሉ ገላጭ ነው » በላቸው ፡ ፡

and indeed we sent to every nation a noble messenger ( proclaiming ) that “ worship allah and beware of the devil ” ; therefore allah guided some of them , and error proved true upon some of them ; therefore travel in the land and see what sort of fate befell the deniers !
