Ժողովուրդը միահամուռ պատասխան տուեց ու ասաց. «Այն ամէնը, ինչ ասել է Աստուած, կը կատարենք ու կը հնազանդուենք»: Մովսէսը ժողովրդի ասածը հաղորդեց Աստծուն:

Աբիմելէքը նրան ասաց. «Ինչո՞ւ այդ բանն արեցիր մեզ հետ: Քիչ էր մնում, որ իմ ազգակիցներից մէկը պառկէր քո կնոջ հետ եւ մեզ մեղքի մէջ գցէիր»: Եւ Աբիմելէքը հրաման արձակեց իր ողջ ժողովրդին՝ ասելով.

and he said also to the people, when ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, there cometh a shower; and so it is.
Ժողովրդին էլ ասաց. «Երբ տեսնէք, որ արեւմուտքից ամպ է ելնում, իսկոյն կ՚ասէք, թէ՝ անձրեւ կը գայ: Այդպէս էլ լինում է:

and moses came and told the people all the words of the lord, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, all the words which the lord hath said will we do.
Մովսէսն եկաւ ու ժողովրդին յայտնեց Աստծու բոլոր պատգամներն ու կանոնները: Ողջ ժողովուրդը միաձայն պատասխան տուեց ու ասաց. «Կը կատարենք բոլոր այն պատգամները, որ տուել է Տէրը, կ՚ենթարկուենք դրանց»:

and all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off.
Ողջ ժողովուրդը լսում էր որոտը, շեփորի ձայնը, տեսնում փայլատակումներն ու ծխացող լեռը: Ողջ ժողովուրդը զարհուրեց, ընկրկեց ու կանգնեց հեռու:
