Յիսուս նրանց ասաց. «Իսկ դուք իմ մասին ի՞նչ էք ասում, ո՞վ եմ ես»:

Աշակերտներն իրար էին նայում տարակուսելով, թէ ո՛ւմ մասին է ասում:

Եւ դարձեալ միւս գրուածն ասում է. «Պիտի նայեն նրան, ում խոցեցին»:

Երուսաղէմացիներից ոմանք ասում էին. «Սա չէ՞ նա, որին ուզում էին սպանել:

Եւ ո՛չ էլ նրա խօսքն ունէք ձեր մէջ բնակուած, որովհետեւ, ում նա ուղարկեց, դուք նրան չէք հաւատում:

and abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom sarah bare to him, isaac.
Աբրահամն իր որդու անունը, որին ծնեց Սառան նրա համար, դրեց Իսահակ:

and he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him.
Յիսուս լեռը բարձրացաւ եւ իր մօտ կանչեց նրանց, որոնց ինքը կամեցաւ. եւ նրանք գնացին նրա մօտ:

and if i by beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.
Եւ եթէ ես Բէեղզեբուղով եմ հանում դեւերին, ձեր որդիները ինչո՞վ կը հանեն. դրա համար էլ նրանք կը լինեն ձեր դատաւորները:

and also that nation, whom they shall serve, will i judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.
բայց ես դատաստան պիտի տեսնեմ այն ազգի հետ, որը պիտի ստրկացնի նրանց: Դրանից յետոյ նրանք այստեղ պիտի վերադառնան բազում հարստութեամբ:

and he blessed joseph, and said, god, before whom my fathers abraham and isaac did walk, the god which fed me all my life long unto this day,
Օրհնեց նրանց եւ ասաց. «Աստուած, որին հաճոյ եղան իմ նախնիները՝ Աբրահամն ու Իսահակը, Աստուած, որ պահպանեց ինձ իմ մանկութիւնից մինչեւ այսօր,

and adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name seth: for god, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of abel, whom cain slew.
Ադամը պառկեց իր կին Եւայի հետ, սա յղիացաւ, ծնեց որդի, նրա անունը դրեց Սէթ եւ ասաց. «Կայէնի սպանած Աբէլի փոխարէն Աստուած ինձ ուրիշ զաւակ պարգեւեց»:
