nay ! allah hath cursed them because of their infidelity : little wherefore it is they believe .
আর তারা বলে -- “ আমাদের হৃদয় হলো গেলাফ ! ” না , আল ্ লাহ ্ তাদের বঞ ্ চিত করেছেন তাদের অবিশ ্ বাসের জন ্ য । তাই যৎসামান ্ যই যা তারা বিশ ্ বাস করে ।

and as for the boy , his parents were believers , and we apprehended that he might impose upon the twain exorbitance and infidelity .

o ye who believe ! take not for protectors your fathers and your brothers if they love infidelity above faith : if any of you do so , they do wrong .
ওহে যারা ঈমান এনেছ ! তোমাদের পিতৃবর ্ গকে ও তোমাদের ভ ্ রাতৃবৃন ্ দকে তোমরা অভিভাবকরূপে গ ্ রহণ করো না যদি তারা বিশ ্ বাসের চাইতে অবিশ ্ বাসকেই ভালোবাসে । আর তোমাদের মধ ্ যে যে কেউ তাদের মুরব ্ বীরূপে গ ্ রহণ করে তবে তারা নিজেরাই হবে অন ্ যায়কারী ।

and if they violate their oaths after their covenant and revile your religion , fight those leaders of infidelity-verily no oaths will hold in their case that haply they may desist .
আর তারা যদি তাদের চুক ্ তি সম ্ পাদনের পরেও তাদের প ্ রতি ‌ শ ্ রুতি ভঙ ্ গ করে আর তোমাদের ধর ্ ম নিয়ে বিদ ্ রূপ করে তবে অবিশ ্ বাসের সর ্ দারদের সাথে যুদ ্ ধ করো , -- নিঃসন ্ দেহ তাদের বেলা প ্ রতিজ ্ ঞাসব তাদের কাছে কিছুই নয় , -- যেন তারা বিরত হতে পারে ।

and when they come to you they say : we believe ; whereas surely with infidelity they entered and surely with it they went forth . and allah is knower of that which they have been concealing .
আর যখন তারা তোমাদের কাছে আসে তারা বলে -- ' আমরা ঈমান এনেছি ’ , কিন ্ তু আসলে তারা ভরতি হয়েছিল অবিশ ্ বাস নিয়ে আর এখন বেরিয়েও গেছে তাতেই । আর আল ্ লাহ ্ ভালো জানেন কি তারা লুকোচ ্ ছে ।

it is not for such as join gods with allah , to visit or maintain the mosques of allah while they witness against their own souls to infidelity . the works of such bear no fruit : in fire shall they dwell .
মুশরিকদের কোনো অধিকার নেই যে তারা আল ্ লাহ ্ ‌ র মসজিদগুলো দেখাশোনা করবে যখন তারা তাদের নিজেদের বিরুদ ্ ধে অবিশ ্ বাসের সাক ্ ষ ্ য দেয় । এরাই তারা যাদের কাজকর ্ ম ব ্ যর ্ থ হয়েছে , আর আগুনের মধ ্ যে তারাই অবস ্ থান করবে ।

and let not those grieve thee who hasten toward infidelity ; verily they shall not harm allah at all . allah desireth not to provide for them a portion in the hereafter ; and theirs shall be a torment mighty .
