and in that day did the lord god of hosts call to weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth:
ထိုကာလ၌ ငိုကြွေးမြည်တမ်းခြင်း၊ ဆံပင်ကို ပယ်ဖြတ်ခြင်း၊ လျှော်တေအဝတ်ကို ဝတ်စည်းခြင်း အလို ငှါ၊ ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေသခင် အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရားသည် နှိုးဆော် တိုက်တွန်းတော်မူသော်လည်း၊

for in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have i spoken, surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of israel;
အကယ်စင်စစ် ထိုအခါ ဣသရေလပြည်၌ကြီးစွာ သော လှုပ်ရှားခြင်းဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်ဟု ငါ၏ဒေါသမီးလောင် လျက် ငါပြောပြီ။

and in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.
ထိုကာလ၌ သူတို့သည် သမုဒ္ဒရာ အသံဗလံ ကဲ့သို့ ဟုန်းဟုန်းမြည်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ထိုပြည်ကိုကြည့်ရှုလျှင်၊ မှောင်မိုက်အတိ၊ ဒုက္ခဆင်းရဲသက်သက်ရှိ၍၊ မိုဃ်းကောင်း ကင် အလင်းသည် ကွယ်ပျောက်လိမ့်သတည်း။

and in that day shall ye say, praise the lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.
ထိုကာလ၌လည်း ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ဂုဏ်တော် ကိုချီးမွမ်းကြလော့။ နာမတော်ကို ပဋ္ဌနာပြုကြလော့။ အမှုတော်တို့ကို လူများတို့တွင် ဘော်ပြလော့။ နာမတော်သည် မြင့်မြတ်သောကြောင့်ချီးမွမ်းကြလော့။

and in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, we will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.
သူသည် လူဆိတ်ညံရာမြေပေါ်မှာ ထိုင်ရလိမ့် မည်။ ထိုကာလ၌ မိန်းမခုနစ်ယောက်တို့သည် ယောက်ျား တယောက်ကို ကိုင်ဆွဲလျက်၊ ကျွန်မတို့သည် ကိုယ်မုန့်ကို စားပါမည်။ ကိုယ်အဝတ်ကိုလည်း ဝတ်ပါမည်။ ကျွန်မ တို့ကို မောင်၏နာမဖြင့် သမုတ်ခြင်းသာရှိစေ၍၊ ကျွန်မတို့ ရှက်ကြောက်ခြင်းကို ပယ်ဖျောက်ပါဟု ဆိုကြလိမ့်မည်။

and in that day thou shalt say, o lord, i will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.
ထိုကာလ၌ သင်မြွက်ဆိုရမည်ကား၊ အိုထာဝရ ဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ဂုဏ်ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းပါ မည်။အကျွန်ုပ်ကို အမျက်ထွက်တော်မူသော်လည်း၊ တဖန် အမျက်တော်ငြိမ်း၍၊အကျွန်ုပ်ကို နှစ်သိမ့်စေတော်မူ၏။

in those days, and in that time, saith the lord, the children of israel shall come, they and the children of judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the lord their god.
ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ထိုကာလ အခါ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသား တို့သည် ယုဒအမျိုးသား တို့နှင့် ပေါင်းဘက်၍လာကြလိမ့်မည်။ မျက်ရည်ကျလျက်၊ ခရီးသွားလျက်၊ သူတို့၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရားကို သွား၍ ရှာကြလိမ့်မည်။

and in that day will i make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and i will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely.
ထိုကာလ၌ငါသည် သူတို့အတွက်၊ တောသားရဲ၊ မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်ငှက်၊ မြေပေါ်မှာ တွားတတ်သော တိရစ္ဆာန်များနှင့် မိဿဟာယဖွဲ့၍၊ လေး၊ ထား၊ စစ်တိုက် လက်နက်တို့ကို မြေပေါ်က ပယ်ရှားသဖြင့် သူတို့သည် စိုးရိမ်ခြင်းမရှိဘဲ အိပ်ရကြလိမ့်မည်။

in those days, and in that time, saith the lord, the iniquity of israel shall be sought for, and there shall be none; and the sins of judah, and they shall not be found: for i will pardon them whom i reserve.
ထိုကာလအခါ ဣသရေလအပြစ်ကို စစ်ကြော သော်လည်း အပြစ်မပေါ်ရာ။ ယုဒဒုစရိုက်တို့ကိုရှာ၍ မတွေ့ရာ။ ငါချန်ထားသော သူတို့၏ အပြစ်ကို ငါဖြေရှင်း မည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။

and it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
ထိုနေ့ရက်၌ အသက်ရေသည် ယေရုရှလင်မြို့မှ ထွက်၍၊ နွေကာလဖြစ်စေ၊ ဆောင်းကာလဖြစ်စေ၊ အရှေ့ ပင်လယ်သို့တဝက်၊ အနောက်ပင်လယ်သို့ တဝက်စီးသွား လိမ့်မည်။
