say: "i am forbidden to worship those you call apart from god, since clear signs have come to me from my lord, and i am commanded to submit to the lord of all the worlds."
ka ce: "lalle nĩ, an hana ni in bauta wa waɗanda kuke kira waɗansun allah a lõkacin da hujjõji bayyanannu suka zo mini daga ubangijina, kuma an umurce ni in sallama ga ubangijin halittu."

i have up-rightly submitted myself to the one who has created the heavens and the earth and i am not an idol worshipper."
"lalle ne nĩ, na fuskantar da fuskata ga wanda, ya ƙãga halittar sammai da ƙasa, inã mai karkata zuwa ga gaskiya, kuma bã ni cikin mãsu shirki."

say: "as to the knowledge of the time, it is with allah alone: i am (sent) only to warn plainly in public."
ka ce: "ilmin a wurin allah kawai yake, kuma ni mai gargaɗi kawai ne, mai bayyana (gargaɗin)."

"the ways and means of (reaching) the heavens, and that i may mount up to the god of moses: but as far as i am concerned, i think (moses) is a liar!"
