and assuredly we have variously propounded for mankind in this qur'an every kind of similitude, yet most men have refused everything except infidelity.
kuma lalle ne, haƙĩƙa, mun caccanza dõmin mutãne, a cikin wannan alƙur'ãni, daga kõwane misãli sai mafi yawan mutãne suka ƙi (kõme) fãce kãfirci,

and assuredly we have variously propounded in this qur'an for mankind every kind of similitude; and man is of all things the most disputing.
kuma lalle ne, haƙĩƙa, mun jujjũya, a cikin wannan alƙur'ãni, daga kõwane irin misãli ga mutãne (dõmin su gãne, su bi sharĩ'a), kuma mutum yã kasance mafi yawan abu ga jidãli.

beholdest thou not how allah hath propounded the similitude of the clean word? it is like a clean tree, its root firmly fixed, and its branches reaching unto heaven.
shin, ba ka ganĩ ba, yadda allah ya buga wani mĩsali, kalma mai kyau kamar itãciya ce mai kyau, asalinta yanã tabbatacce, kuma rẽshenta yanã cikin sama?

and thus we have sent it down, an arabic recitation, and have propounded variously therein of the threats, that haply they may fear, or that it may generate in them some admonition.
kuma haka muka saukar da shi, alƙur'ãni, yanã abin karantãwa, da larabci kuma muka jujjuya misãlai, a cikinsa, na tsõratarwa, tsammãninsu, sunã yin taƙawa ko ya sabbaba musu wata wa'aztuwa.

and assuredly we have propounded for mankind, in this qur'an, every kind of similitude; and if thou bringest unto them a sign, those who disbelieve are sure to say: ye are but followers of falsehood.
kuma lalle tabbas mun buga kõwane irin misãli ga mutãne a cikin wannan alƙur'ãni, kuma lalle idan kã je musu da kõwace ãyã, lalle, waɗanda suka kãfirta zã su ce "kũ, bã kõme kuke ba fãce mãsu barua."
