और बस्तियों के लोगों की सरकशी से जब तुम्हारा परवरदिगार अज़ाब में पकड़ता है तो उसकी पकड़ ऐसी ही होती है बेशक पकड़ तो दर्दनाक होती है

then the evildoers of them substituted a saying other than that which had been said to them ; so we sent down upon them wrath out of heaven for their evildoing .
तो ज़ालिमों ने जो बात उनसे कही गई थी उसे बदल कर कुछ और कहना शुरू किया तो हमने उनकी शरारतों की बदौलत उन पर आसमान से अज़ाब भेज दिया

अब उस व्यक्ति से बढ़कर ज़ालिम कौन होगा , जो अल्लाह पर थोपकर झूठ घड़े जबकि इस्लाम का ओर बुलाया जा रहा हो ? अल्लाह ज़ालिम लोगों को सीधा मार्ग नहीं दिखाया करता

all this have i seen in my days of vanity: there is a righteous man who perishes in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man who lives long in his evildoing.
अपने व्यर्थ जीवन में मैं ने यह सब कुछ देखा है; कोई धर्मी अपने धर्म का काम करते हुए नाश हो जाता है, और दुष्ट बुराई करते हुए दीर्घायु होता है।

अहले किताब जो तुमसे दरख्वास्त करते हैं कि तुम उनपर एक किताब आसमान से उतरवा दो ये लोग मूसा से तो इससे कहीं बढ़ के दरख्वास्त कर चुके हैं चुनान्चे कहने लगे कि हमें ख़ुदा को खुल्लम खुल्ला दिखा दो तब उनकी शरारत की वजह से बिजली ने ले डाला फिर उन लोगों के पास तौहीद की वाजैए और रौशन आ चुकी थी उसके बाद भी उन लोगों ने बछड़े को बना लिया फिर हमने उससे भी दरगुज़र किया और मूसा को हमने सरीही ग़लबा अता किया
