उसने कहा , " मेरे रब ! मैं इससे तेरी पनाह माँगता हूँ कि तुझसे उस चीज़ का सवाल करूँ जिसका मुझे कोई ज्ञान न हो । अब यदि तूने मुझे क्षमा न किया और मुझपर दया न की , तो मैं घाटे में पड़कर रहूँगा । "

और अगर तु मुझे हुक्म दिया गया ऐ नूह हमारी तरफ से सलामती और उन बरकतों के साथ कश्ती से उतरो

He said , ' My Lord , I take refuge with Thee , lest I should ask of Thee that whereof I have no knowledge ; for if Thou forgivest me not , and hast not mercy on me , I shall be among the losers . '
उसने कहा , " मेरे रब ! मैं इससे तेरी पनाह माँगता हूँ कि तुझसे उस चीज़ का सवाल करूँ जिसका मुझे कोई ज्ञान न हो । अब यदि तूने मुझे क्षमा न किया और मुझपर दया न की , तो मैं घाटे में पड़कर रहूँगा । "
