anche se facevo parte del suo movimento da quando avevo 15 anni – è la grande avventura della mia vita – non avevo mai parlato personalmente con lei. ricordo ancora l’emozione e la sorpresa, ma soprattutto ricordo bene le sue parole: “mi vuoi aiutare per dare dignità scientifica all’economia di comunione?”. e poi aggiunse che tornando in brasile dopo sette anni dal lancio dell’edc aveva capito che se accanto agli imprenditori non si fosse sviluppato anche un pensiero economico, l’edc non sarebbe decollata. io risposi di sì, venni da londra a roma, e iniziai a collaborare con lei e tanti altri compagni-e per contribuire a dare un po’ di questa dignità scientifica alla vita che c’era e che c’è. e capii che la vita ha la priorità, ma anche il pensiero e la teoria sono vita, e quando mancano rendono la prassi povera e di corto respiro.
