believers, if an evil-doer brings you news, ascertain the correctness of the report fully, lest you unwittingly harm others, and then regret what you have done,
믿는 사람들이여 사학한 자가너희에게 소식을 전할 때는 그 소식을 확인하라 이는 너희가 사실 을 알지 못하여 백성에게 해악을 끼치지 아니하고 너희가 후희하지않도록 함이라

o my sons! go and ascertain about yusuf and his brother, and despair not of the comfort of allah; verily none despair of the comfort of allah except a people disbelieving.
아들들아 가서 요셉과 그의 동생 벤자민에 관해 알아보라 그 리고 하나님의 기대를 포기하지 말라 실로 어느 누구도 하나님의 은혜를 실망치 아니 하나니 볼신 하는 백성들은 그렇지 아니 하니 라

go, o my sons, and ascertain concerning joseph and his brother, and despair not of the spirit of allah. lo! none despaireth of the spirit of allah save disbelieving folk.

[when] they were told: ‘come, fight in the way of allah, or defend [yourselves], they said, ‘if we knew any fighting, we would have surely followed you.’ that day they were nearer to unfaith than to faith. they say with their mouths what is not in their hearts, and allah knows well whatever they conceal.
또한 위선자들을 아시고 자 하셨노라 그들에게 말하여지길 오라 하나님의 길에서 투쟁하라 아니면 너의 고을을 적으로부터 방어하라 하니 그들이 말하길 우 리가 적과 싸운다는 것을 알았더 라면 우리는 너희를 따랐을 것이 다 라고 말하더라 그날 그들은 믿 음보다는 불신에 가까웠으니 그들 은 그들의 입술로써 심중에 아무 것도 없는 것을 말하고 있었노라 하나님은 그들이 숨기는 것을 아 시고 계시니라
