(اور) وہ ضرور انہیں ایسی جگہ داخل کرے گا جسے وہ پسند کریں گے۔ بےشک وہ بڑا جاننے والا، بڑا بردبار ہے۔

if ye shun the grievous sins from which ye are prohibited, we shall expiate from you your misdeeds, and make you enter a noble entrance.
اگر بچتے رہو کبیرہ گناہوں سے جن کی تمہیں ممانعت ہے تو تمہارے اور گناہ ہم بخش دیں گے اور تمہیں عزت کی جگہ داخل کریں گے،

and if entrance had been forced against them from those quarters, and then they had been asked to apostatise, they would have done so, and but tarried about it briefly.
اور اگر ان پر اسی (مدینہ) کے اطراف سے (دشمن) گھس آتے اور پھر انہیں اس فتنہ (میں شرکت) کی دعوت دی جاتی تو یہ اس میں پڑ جاتے اور اس میں زیادہ توقف نہ کرتے۔

and say, "my lord, cause me to enter a sound entrance and to exit a sound exit and grant me from yourself a supporting authority."
اور آپ (اپنے رب کے حضور یہ) عرض کرتے رہیں: اے میرے رب! مجھے سچائی (خوشنودی) کے ساتھ داخل فرما (جہاں بھی داخل فرمانا ہو) اور مجھے سچائی (و خوشنودی) کے ساتھ باہر لے آ(جہاں سے بھی لانا ہو) اور مجھے اپنی جانب سے مددگار غلبہ و قوت عطا فرما دے،

and say thou: o my lord! cause me to enter a rightful entrance and cause me to go forth with a rightful outgoing, and appoint for me from before thee an authority helpful.
اور دعا کرو کہ پروردگار، مجھ کو جہاں بھی تو لے جا سچائی کے ساتھ لے جا اور جہاں سے بھی نکال سچائی کے ساتھ نکال اور اپنی طرف سے ایک اقتدار کو میرا مددگار بنا دے

truly, he will make them enter an entrance with which they shall be well-pleased, and verily, allah indeed is all-knowing, most forbearing.
(اور) وہ ضرور انہیں ایسی جگہ داخل کرے گا جسے وہ پسند کریں گے۔ بےشک وہ بڑا جاننے والا، بڑا بردبار ہے۔

and say, ‘my lord! ‘admit me with a worthy entrance, and bring me out with a worthy departure, and render me a favourable authority from yourself.’
اور آپ (اپنے رب کے حضور یہ) عرض کرتے رہیں: اے میرے رب! مجھے سچائی (خوشنودی) کے ساتھ داخل فرما (جہاں بھی داخل فرمانا ہو) اور مجھے سچائی (و خوشنودی) کے ساتھ باہر لے آ(جہاں سے بھی لانا ہو) اور مجھے اپنی جانب سے مددگار غلبہ و قوت عطا فرما دے،
