Ғайри мардону занон ва кӯдакони кори нотавоне, ки ҳеҷ чорае наёбанд ва ба ҳеҷ ҷо роҳ набаранд.

and when we make people taste of mercy after an affliction touches them, lo! they devise plans against our communication.
Ҳар гоҳ пас аз зараре, ки ба мардум расидааст, раҳмате ба онҳо бичашонем, бинӣ, ки дар оёти Мо бадандешӣ мекунанд, бигӯ: «Макри Худо зудтар аст».

except the feeble among men, and the women, and the children, who are unable to devise a plan and are not shown a way.
Ғайри мардону занон ва кӯдакони кори нотавоне, ки ҳеҷ чорае наёбанд ва ба ҳеҷ ҷо роҳ набаранд.

abraham said to himself, "by god! i will devise a plan against their idols when they are away."
Ва ба Худо савганд, ки чун шумо биравед, чораи ин бутонатонро хоҳам кард».

do then those who devise evil plots feel secure that allah will not sink them into the earth, or that the torment will not seize them from directions they perceive not?
Оё онон, ки содиркунандан бадиҳо мешаванд, магар эминанд аз ин, ки замин ба фармони Худо онҳоро фурӯ барад ё азоб аз ҷое, ки намедонанд, бар сарашон фуруд ояд?

and even so we appointed in every city great ones among its sinners, to devise there; but they devised only against themselves, and they were not aware.
Ва ба ин тавр дар ҳар деҳае гунаҳкоронашонро бузургонашон қарор додем, то дар он ҷо макр кунанд, вале намедонанд, ки ҷуз бо худ макр намеварзанд.

those before them did indeed devise plans, but allah demolished their building from the foundations, so the roof fell down on them from above them, and the punishment came to them from whence they did not perceive.
Пешиниёнашон ҳилла сохтанд. Фармони Худо даррасид ва он биноро аз поя вайрон сохт ва сақф бар сарашон фуруд омад ва аз сӯе, ки нафаҳмиданд, азоб ононро фурӯ гирифт.

do they feel secure, those who devise evil things, that god will not cause the earth to swallow them, or that the chastisement will not come upon them, from whence they are not aware?
Оё онон, ки содиркунандан бадиҳо мешаванд, магар эминанд аз ин, ки замин ба фармони Худо онҳоро фурӯ барад ё азоб аз ҷое, ки намедонанд, бар сарашон фуруд ояд?

allah forgiveth not that partners should be set up with him; but he forgiveth anything else, to whom he pleaseth; to set up partners with allah is to devise a sin most heinous indeed.
Албатта Худо гуноҳи касонеро, ки ба Ӯ ширк оваранд, намебахшад ва гуноҳони дигарро барои ҳар кӣ бихоҳад, меомурзад. Ва ҳар кӣ ба Худо ширк оварад, дурӯғе сохта ва гуноҳе бузург муртакиб шудааст.

do then those who devise evil (plots) feel secure that allah will not cause the earth to swallow them up, or that the wrath will not seize them from directions they little perceive?-
Оё онон, ки содиркунандан бадиҳо мешаванд, магар эминанд аз ин, ки замин ба фармони Худо онҳоро фурӯ барад ё азоб аз ҷое, ки намедонанд, бар сарашон фуруд ояд?

and recite to them the news of nuh (noah). when he said to his people: "o my people, if my stay (with you), and my reminding (you) of the ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of allah is hard on you, then i put my trust in allah. so devise your plot, you and your partners, and let not your plot be in doubt for you. then pass your sentence on me and give me no respite.
Барояшон достони Нӯҳро бихон, он гоҳ, ки ба қавми худ гуфт: «Эй қавми ман, агар истодани ман дар миёни шумо ва ёдоварии оёти Худо бар шумо гарон меояд, ман бар Худо таваккал мекунам, корубори худ ва бутонатонро гирд оваред, чунон ки ҳеҷ чиз аз коре, ки мекунед, бар шумо пӯшида набошад ва ба душмании ман қадам ба пеш ниҳед ва маро мӯҳлат надиҳед!
