Агар чунин кунам, аз ситамкорон хоҳам буд».

say: 'i do not follow your desires, for were i to do that, i would go astray and would not be of those who are rightly guided.'
Бигӯ; «Ба ҳавасҳои шумо пайравӣ намекунам, то мабодо гумроҳ шавам ва аз ҳидоятёфтагон набошам».

say, “i have been forbidden to worship those whom you worship other than allah”; say, “i do not follow your desires – if it were, i would then go astray and not be on the right path.”
Бигӯ: «Маро манъ кардаакд, ки он худоёнро, ки ғайри Оллоҳ мехонед, парастиш кунам». Бигӯ; «Ба ҳавасҳои шумо пайравӣ намекунам, то мабодо гумроҳ шавам ва аз ҳидоятёфтагон набошам».

they swore their strongest oaths by allah that if a warner came to them, they would follow his guidance better than any (other) of the peoples: but when a warner came to them, it has only increased their flight (from righteousness),-
Ба Худо қасамҳои сахт хӯрданд, ки агар бимдиҳандае биёяд, беҳтар аз ҳар уммати дигар ҳидоят ёбанд. Вале чун бимдиҳандае омад, бадбинияшон афзуд;

“and i do not say to you, ‘i have the treasures of allah’ nor that ‘i gain knowledge of the hidden’, nor do i say that, ‘i am an angel’ nor do i say to those whom your sights consider lowly, that allah will never give them any good; allah well knows what is in their hearts; if i do so, i would then be of the unjust.”
Ва намегӯям, ки Худо ба онон, ки шумо ба ҳақорат дар онҳо менигаред, хайри худро ато накунад. Худо ба он чӣ дар дилҳои онҳост, огоҳтар аст.
