« የሃሩን እኅት ሆይ ! አባትሽ መጥፎ ሰው አልነበረም ፡ ፡ እናትሽም አመንዝራ አልነበረችም » አሏት ፡ ፡

say : ' journey in the land , then behold how was the end of the sinners . '
« በምድር ላይ ኺዱ ፡ ፡ የአመጸኞችም መጨረሻ እንዴት እንደ ነበረ ተመልከቱ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

or are you secure of those in the heaven that he should not send down upon you a punishment ? then shall you know how was my warning .
ወይም በሰማይ ውስጥ ያለን በእናንተ ላይ ጠጠርን ያዘለች ነፋስን ቢልክባችሁ ትተማመናላችሁን ? ( አትፈሩምን ? ) ማስጠንቀቄም እንዴት እንደኾነ ወደፊት ታውቃላችሁ ፡ ፡

he ( pharaoh ) asked : ' how was it then , with the former generations '
( ፈርዖንም ) « የመጀመሪያይቱ ዘመናት ሕዝቦች ኹኔታ ምንድን ነው » አለ ፡ ፡

የመድየንም ሰዎች ( አስተባብለዋል ) ፡ ፡ ሙሳም ተስተባብሏል ፡ ፡ ለከሓዲዎቹም ጊዜ ሰጠኋቸው ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ያዝቸው ፡ ፡ ጥላቻዬም እንዴት ነበረ !

የተንኮላቸውም መጨረሻ እንዴት እንደነበረ እኛ እነርሱንም ሕዝቦቻቸውንም በሙሉ እንዴት እንዳጠፋናቸው ተመልከት ፡ ፡

good and evil are not equal . repel evil with good , and the person who was your enemy becomes like an intimate friend .
መልካሚቱና ክፉይቱም ( ጸባይ ) አይተካከሉም ፡ ፡ በዚያች እርሷ መልካም በኾነችው ጸባይ ( መጥፎይቱን ) ገፍትር ፡ ፡ ያን ጊዜ ያ ባንተና በእርሱ መካከል ጠብ ያለው ሰው እርሱ ልክ እንደ አዛኝ ዘመድ ይኾናል ፡ ፡

' you , samaritan ' said he ( moses ) , ' what was your business '
( ሙሳ ) « ሳምራዊው ሆይ ! ነገርህም ምንድን ነው » አለ ፡ ፡

certainly those who were before them had impugned [ my apostles ] ; but then how was my rebuttal !
እነዚያም ከእነርሱ በፊት የነበሩት በእርግጥ አስተባበሉ ፡ ፡ ጥላቻዬም እንዴት ነበር !
