በመልካም ሥራ የመጣ ሰው ለእርሱ ዐሥር ብጤዎችዋ አሉት ፡ ፡ በክፉ ሥራም የመጣ ሰው ብጤዋን እንጅ አይመነዳም ፡ ፡ እነርሱም አይበደሉም ፡ ፡

ከነዚያም በታምራቶቻችን ከአስተባበሉት ሕዝቦች ( ተንኮል ) ጠበቅነው ፡ ፡ እነሱ ክፉ ሕዝቦች አመጸኞች ነበሩና ፡ ፡ ሁሉንም አሰጠምናቸውም ፡ ፡

« ባንተና ከአንተም ጋር ባሉት ሰዎች ምክንያት ገደቢሶች ኾን » አሉት ፡ ፡ « ገደቢስነታችሁ አላህ ዘንድ ነው ፤ ይልቁንም እናንተ የምትፈተኑ ሕዝቦች ናችሁ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

and the parable of a bad word is that of a bad tree — it is uprooted from the ground ; it has no stability .

ደጊቱም ነገር ( ምቾት ) በመጣችላቸው ጊዜ « ይህች ለእኛ ( ተገቢ ) ናት » ይላሉ ፡ ፡ ክፉትም ብታገኛቸው በሙሳና አብረውት ባሉት ገደቢስነት ያመካኛሉ ፡ ፡ ንቁ ! ገደቢስነታቸው አላህ ዘንድ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ግን አብዛኛዎቻቸው አያውቁም ፡ ፡

and ( also ) those who spend their wealth in order to be seen of men , and believe not in allah nor the last day . whoso taketh satan for a comrade , a bad comrade hath he .
እነዚያም ለሰዎች ይውልኝ ሲሉ ገንዘቦቻቸውን የሚሰጡ በአላህና በመጨረሻውም ቀን የማያምኑ ( ይቀጥጣሉ ) ፡ ፡ ሰይጣንም ለእርሱ ጓደኛው የኾነ ሰው ጓደኛነቱ ከፋ !

( the messengers ) said : " the augury is within your own selves . do you ( consider it a bad omen ) that you should be warned ?
« ገደ ቢስነታችሁ ከእናንተው ጋር ነው ፡ ፡ ብትገሰጹ ( ትዝታላችሁን ? ) በእውነቱ እናንተ ወሰን አላፊዎች ሕዝቦች ናችሁ » አሏቸው ፡ ፡
