« ከነርሱ ፍጹሞቹ ባሮችህ ብቻ ሲቀሩ ፡ ፡ »

በእርሷ ተደሳቾች ከነበሩባትም ድሎት ( ብዙን ነገር ተዉ ) ፡ ፡

and how many a prophet have we sent amongst the men of old .
በፊተኞቹም ሕዝቦች ውስጥ ከነቢይ ብዙን ልከናል ፡ ፡

and place me amongst the inheritors of the garden of bliss .
የጸጋይቱን ገነት ከሚወርሱትም አድርገኝ ፡ ፡

but how many were the prophets we sent amongst the peoples of old ?
በፊተኞቹም ሕዝቦች ውስጥ ከነቢይ ብዙን ልከናል ፡ ፡

except an old woman ( who was ) amongst those who tarried .
( በቅጣቱ ውስጥ ) ከቀሪዎቹ የሆነችው አሮጊት ብቻ ስትቀር ፡ ፡

except those of your servants , the chosen ones from amongst them . ”
« ከእነርሱ ምርጥ የኾኑት ባሮችህ ብቻ ሲቀሩ ፡ ፡ »

and amongst them will be passed round vessels of silver and cups of crystal ,
በእነርሱም ላይ ከብር በኾኑ ዕቃዎች ( ሰሐኖች ) የብርጭቆዎች በኾኑ ኩባያዎችም ይዝዞርባቸዋል ፡ ፡

and brought round amongst them will be vessels of silver and also goblets of glass .
በእነርሱም ላይ ከብር በኾኑ ዕቃዎች ( ሰሐኖች ) የብርጭቆዎች በኾኑ ኩባያዎችም ይዝዞርባቸዋል ፡ ፡

and we certainly know that there are amongst you those that reject ( it ) .
እኛም ከእናንተ ውስጥ አስተባባዮች መኖራቸውን በእርግጥ እናውቃለን ፡ ፡

amongst you is an unbeliever and amongst you is a believer . allah sees the things you do .
እርሱ ያ የፈጠራችሁ ነው ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም ከሓዲ አልለ ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም አማኝ አልለ ፡ ፡ አላህም በምትሠሩት ሁሉ ተመልካች ነው ፡ ፡

" then , o my lord ! put me not amongst the people who do wrong ! "
« ጌታዬ ሆይ ! በበደለኞች ሕዝቦች ውስጥ አታድርገኝ ፡ ፡ »

and if it were our will , we could make angels from amongst you , succeeding each other on the earth .
ብንሻም ኖሮ በምድር ላይ ከእናነተ ምትክ መላእክትን ባደረግን ነበር ፡ ፡

" except thy servants amongst them , sincere and purified ( by thy grace ) . "
« ከእነርሱ ምርጥ የኾኑት ባሮችህ ብቻ ሲቀሩ ፡ ፡ »

hath unto him the admonition been sent down from amongst us ! yea ! they are in doubt concerning my admonition .
« ከመካከላችን በእርሱ ላይ ቁርኣን ተወረደን ? » ( አሉ ) ፡ ፡ በእውነት እነርሱ ከግሳጼዬ ( ከቁርኣን ) በመጠራጠር ውስጥ ናቸው ፡ ፡ በእርግጥም ቅጣቴን ገና አልቀመሱም ፡ ፡

but if you desire god and his messenger and the last abode , surely god has prepared for those amongst you such as do good a mighty wage .
« አላህንና መልክተኛውን የመጨረሻይቱን አገርም የምትፈልጉ ብትሆኑም ፤ እነሆ አላህ ከእናንተ ለመልካም ሠሪዎቹ ትልቅን ምንዳ አዘጋጅቷል ፡ ፡ »

and we sent amongst them a messenger of themselves , saying , ' serve god ! you have no god other than he .
በውስጣቸውም ከእነሱ የኾነን መልክተኛ አላህን ተገዙ ከእርሱ ሌላ አምላክ የላችሁም አትጠነቀቁምን በማለት ላክን ፡ ፡

and we appointed , from amongst them , leaders guiding others by our command , when they had persevered , and of our signs they were convinced .
በታገሱና በተዓምራቶቻችን የሚያረጋግጡ በሆኑም ጊዜ ከእነርሱ በትዕዛዛችን የሚመሩ መሪዎች አደረግን ፡ ፡

" except your chosen slaves amongst them ( faithful , obedient , true believers of islamic monotheism ) . "
« ከእነርሱ ምርጥ የኾኑት ባሮችህ ብቻ ሲቀሩ ፡ ፡ »

but if ye seek allah and his messenger , and the home of the hereafter , verily allah has prepared for the well-doers amongst you a great reward .
« አላህንና መልክተኛውን የመጨረሻይቱን አገርም የምትፈልጉ ብትሆኑም ፤ እነሆ አላህ ከእናንተ ለመልካም ሠሪዎቹ ትልቅን ምንዳ አዘጋጅቷል ፡ ፡ »
