ከዚያም ( መውጫ ) መንገዱን አገራው ፡ ፡

or that he may not seize them in the course of their journeys , then shall they not escape ;
ወይም ( ካገር ወደ አገር ) በሚዛወሩበት ጊዜ የሚይዛቸው መኾኑን ( አይፈሩምን ) እነሱም አሸናፊዎች አይደሉም ፡ ፡

and do not kill the soul which god has made sacred , except in the course of justice . if someone is killed unjustly , we have given his next of kin certain authority .
ያቺንም አላህ ያወገዛትን ነፍስ ያለ ሕግ አትግደሉ ፡ ፡ የተበደለም ኾኖ የተገደለ ሰው ለዘመዱ ( በገዳዩ ላይ ) በእርግጥ ስልጣንን አድርገናል ፡ ፡ በመግደልም ወሰንን አይለፍ ፤ እርሱ የተረዳ ነውና ፡ ፡

his companion replied , in the course of their discussion , " do you deny him who created you from dust , from a small drop of fluid , then formed you into a man ?
ጓደኛው ( አማኙ ) እርሱ ለእርሱ የሚመላለሰው ሲኾን « በዚያ ከዐፈር ፣ ከዚያም ከፍትወት ጠብታ ከፈጠረህ ፣ ከዚያም ሰው ባደረገህ ( አምላክ ) ካድክን » አለው ፡ ፡

there was in the days of herod, the king of judaea, a certain priest named zacharias, of the course of abia: and his wife was of the daughters of aaron, and her name was elisabeth.
በይሁዳ ንጉሥ በሄሮድስ ዘመን ከአብያ ክፍል የሆነ ዘካርያስ የሚባል አንድ ካህን ነበረ፤ ሚስቱም ከአሮን ልጆች ነበረች፥ ስምዋም ኤልሳቤጥ ነበረ።

( ይህቺ ) በእነዚያ በፊት ባለፉት ( ላይ የደነገጋት ) የአላህ ድንጋጌ ናት ፡ ፡ ለአላህም ድንጋጌ ፈጽሞ መለወጥን አታገኝም ፡ ፡

his companion said to him , in the course of the argument with him : " dost thou deny him who created thee out of dust , then out of a sperm-drop , then fashioned thee into a man ?
ጓደኛው ( አማኙ ) እርሱ ለእርሱ የሚመላለሰው ሲኾን « በዚያ ከዐፈር ፣ ከዚያም ከፍትወት ጠብታ ከፈጠረህ ፣ ከዚያም ሰው ባደረገህ ( አምላክ ) ካድክን » አለው ፡ ፡

then should they wait for aught except the way of the former people ? for you shall not find any alteration in the course of allah ; and you shall not find any change in the course of allah .
በምድር ላይ ኩራትንና በክፉ ( ተንኮል ) መዶለትንም ( እንጂ አልጨመረላቸውም ፡ ፡ ክፉ ተንኮልም በባለቤቱ ላይ እንጂ በሌላ ላይ አይሰፍርም ፡ ፡ የቀድሞዎቹን ደንብ እንጂ ይጠባበቃሉን ? ለአላህ ደንብም መልለወጥን አታገኝም ፡ ፡ ለአላህ ደንብም መዛወርን አታገኝም ፡ ፡

and he had property ( or fruit ) and he said to his companion , in the course of mutual talk : i am more than you in wealth and stronger in respect of men . " [ see tafsir qurtubi , vol .
ለእርሱም ( ከአትክልቶቹ ሌላ ፍሬያማ ) ሀብት ነበረው ፡ ፡ ለጓደኛውም ( ለአማኙ ) እርሱ የሚወዳደረው ሲኾን « እኔ ካንተ በገንዘብ ይበልጥ የበዛሁ በወገንም ይበልጥ የበረታሁ ነኝ » አለው ፡ ፡

there is no harm in the prophet doing that which allah has ordained for him ; such has been the course of allah with respect to those who have gone before ; and the command of allah is a decree that is made absolute :
በነቢዩ ላይ አላህ ለእርሱ በፈረደው ነገር ምንም ችግር ሊኖርበት አይገባም ፡ ፡ በእነዚያ ከዚያ በፊት ባለፉት ( ነቢያት ) አላህ ደነገገው ፡ ፡ የአላህም ትእዛዝ የተፈረደ ፍርድ ነው ፡ ፡

( abundant ) was the produce this man had : he said to his companion , in the course of a mutual argument : " more wealth have i than you , and more honour and power in ( my following of ) men . "
ለእርሱም ( ከአትክልቶቹ ሌላ ፍሬያማ ) ሀብት ነበረው ፡ ፡ ለጓደኛውም ( ለአማኙ ) እርሱ የሚወዳደረው ሲኾን « እኔ ካንተ በገንዘብ ይበልጥ የበዛሁ በወገንም ይበልጥ የበረታሁ ነኝ » አለው ፡ ፡
