ዕድሜህ ስንት ነው

አህያ ነህ

you are a student.
አንቺ ተማሪ ነሽ።

you are the clever one
you are the clever one

from him you are distracted .
አንተ ከእርሱ ትዝዘናጋለህ ፡ ፡

so you are after him !
አንተ ለእርሱ ( ለእምነቱ በመጓጓት ) በፈገግታ ትቀበለዋለህ ፡ ፡

of which you are disregardful .
« እናንተ ከእርሱ ዘንጊዎች ናችሁ ፡ ፡

as you reside in this town ;
አንተ በዚህ አገር ሰፋሪ ስትኾን ፡ ፡

apart from him . contrive against me as much as you like , and give me no respite .
ከእርሱ ሌላ ( አማልክትን ከምታጋሩት ንጹህ ነኝ ) ፡ ፡ ሁላችሁም ሆናችሁ ተንኮልን ሥሩብኝ ፤ ከዚያም አታቆዩኝ ፡ ፡

" begone ! you are accursed :
( አላህ ) አለው « ከእርሷ ውጣ ፤ አንተ የተባረርክ ነህና ፡ ፡ »

believers , take care of your own souls . the misguided cannot harm you as long as you are guided .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ነፍሶቻችሁን ( ከእሳት ) ያዙ ፤ ( ጠብቁ ) ፡ ፡ በተመራችሁ ጊዜ የተሳሳተ ሰው አይጎዳችሁም ፡ ፡ የሁላችሁም መመለሻ ወደ አላህ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ትሠሩትም የነበራችሁትን ሁሉ ይነግራችኋል ፡ ፡

and you ride on them as you do in ships .
በእርሷም ላይ በመርከብም ላይ ትጫናላችሁ ፡ ፡

so hold allah in awe as much as you can , and listen and obey , and be charitable . this is for your own good .
አላህንም የቻላችሁትን የክል ፍሩት ፤ ትዕዛዙን ስሙም ፤ ታዘዙም ፤ ለግሱም ፤ ለነፍሶቻችሁ መልካምን ( ይሰጣችኋልና ) ፤ የነፍሱንም ንፍገት የሚጠበቅ ሰው እነዚያ እነሱ ፍላጎታቸውን የሚያገኙ ናቸው ፡ ፡

so turn away from them , as you will not be blameworthy .
ከእነርሱም ( ክርክር ) ዘወር በል ፤ ( ተዋቸው ) ፡ ፡ አንተ ምንም ተወቃሽ አይደለህምና ፡ ፡

do your duty to allah and fear him . seek the means of approach to him , and strive hard in his cause as much as you can .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! አላህን ፍሩ ፡ ፡ ወደርሱም መቃረቢያን ( መልካም ሥራን ) ፈልጉ ፡ ፡ ትድኑ ዘንድም በእርሱ መንገድ ታገሉ ፡ ፡

he said , “ my lord , in as much as you have favored me , i will never be a supporter of the criminals . ”
« ጌታዬ ሆይ ! በእኔ ላይ በመለገስህ ይሁንብኝ ( ከስህተቴ እጸጸታለሁ ) ፤ ለአመጸኞችም ፈጽሞ ረዳት አልሆንም አለ ፡ ፡

o believers , obey god and his messenger , and do not turn away from him , even as you are listening ;
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! አላህንና መልክተኛውን ታዘዙ ፡ ፡ እናንተም የምትሰሙ ስትኾኑ ከርሱ አትሽሹ ፡ ፡

and say , “ my lord , land me with a blessed landing , as you are the best of transporters . ”
በልም « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! ብሩክ የኾነን ማውረድ አውርደኝ ፡ ፡ አንተም ከአውራጆች ሁሉ በላጭ ነህ ፡ ፡ »
