indeed we sent to nations before thee , and we seized them with misery and hardship that haply they might be humble ;
ከበፊትህም ወደ ነበሩት ሕዝቦች ( መልክተኞችን ) በእርግጥ ላክን ፡ ፡ እንዲዋደቁም በድህነትና በበሽታ ያዝናቸው ፡ ፡

be humble and merciful towards them and say , " lord , have mercy upon them as they cherished me in my childhood . "
ለሁለቱም ከእዝነትህ የመዋረድን ክንፍ ዝቅ አድርግላቸው ፡ ፡ « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! በሕፃንነቴ ( በርኅራኄ ) እንዳሳደጉኝ እዘንልላቸውም » በል ፡ ፡

and be humble and tender to them and say : " lord , show mercy to them as they nurtured me when i was small . "
ለሁለቱም ከእዝነትህ የመዋረድን ክንፍ ዝቅ አድርግላቸው ፡ ፡ « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! በሕፃንነቴ ( በርኅራኄ ) እንዳሳደጉኝ እዘንልላቸውም » በል ፡ ፡

and that they who have been given knowledge may know that it is the truth from thy lord and believe in it , and so their hearts be humble unto him ; and assuredly god ever guides those who believe to a straight path .
እነዚያም ዕውቀትን የተሰጡት እርሱ ( ቁርኣን ) ከጌታህ የኾነ እውነት መኾኑን እንዲያውቁና በእርሱ እንዲያምኑ ልቦቻቸውም ለእርሱ እንዲረኩ ( ያጠነክራል ) ፡ ፡ አላህም እነዚያን ያመኑትን ወደ ቀጥተኛው መንገድ በእርግጥ መሪ ነው ፡ ፡

and so that those to whom knowledge has been given will know that this is the truth from your lord and so believe in it and that their hearts will be humble to him . indeed , allah will surely guide those who believe to a straight path .
እነዚያም ዕውቀትን የተሰጡት እርሱ ( ቁርኣን ) ከጌታህ የኾነ እውነት መኾኑን እንዲያውቁና በእርሱ እንዲያምኑ ልቦቻቸውም ለእርሱ እንዲረኩ ( ያጠነክራል ) ፡ ፡ አላህም እነዚያን ያመኑትን ወደ ቀጥተኛው መንገድ በእርግጥ መሪ ነው ፡ ፡

has not the time yet come for those who believe that their hearts should be humble for the remembrance of allah and what has come down of the truth ? and that they should not be like those who were given the book before , but the time became prolonged to them , so their hearts hardened , and most of them are transgressors .
ለነዚያ ለአመኑት ለአላህ ተግሳጽና ከቁርኣንም ለወረደው ልቦቻቸው ሊፈሩ እንደእነዚያም በፊት መጽሐፍን እንደ ተሰጡትና በእነርሱ ላይ ጊዜ እንደረዘመባቸው ልቦቻቸውም እንደ ደረቁት ላይኾኑ ( ጊዜው ) አልቀረበምን ? ከእነርሱም ብዙዎቹ አመጸኞች ናቸው ፡ ፡

should any of you desert his religion , allah will soon bring a people whom he loves and who love him , [ who will be ] humble towards the faithful , stern towards the faithless , waging jihad in the way of allah , not fearing the blame of any blamer . that is allah s grace ’ , which he grants to whomever he wishes , and allah is all-bounteous , all-knowing .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ከእናንተ ውስጥ ከሃይማኖቱ የሚመለስ ሰው አላህ ( በእነርሱ ስፍራ ) የሚወዳቸውንና የሚወዱትን ፣ በምእመናን ላይ ትሑቶች ፣ በከሓዲዎች ላይ ኀያላን የኾኑን በአላህ መንገድ የሚታገሉን የወቃሽን ወቀሳ የማይፈሩን ሕዝቦች በእርግጥ ያመጣል ፡ ፡ ይኸ የአላህ ችሮታ ነው ፤ ለሚሻው ሰው ይሰጠዋል ፤ አላህም ችሮታው ሰፊ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡
