ይህ ( ፊት ትሉ እንደነበራችሁት ) ድግምት ነውን ? ወይስ እናንተ አታዩምን ?

is it then that we are not going to die ,
( የገነት ሰዎች ይላሉ ) « እኛ የምንሞት አይደለንምን ?

( is it ) of the great announcement
ከታላቁ ዜና ( ከቁርኣን ይጠያየቃሉ ) ፡ ፡

is it magic then or do you not see ?
ይህ ( ፊት ትሉ እንደነበራችሁት ) ድግምት ነውን ? ወይስ እናንተ አታዩምን ?

is it falsified gods , instead of god , that you want ?
« ለቅጥፈት ብላችሁ ከአላህ ሌላ አማልክትን ትሻላችሁን ?

how is it that you are not helping one another ?
( ለእነርሱም ) « የማትረዳዱት ለእናንተ ምን አላችሁ ? ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

which is it , of the favours of your lord , that ye deny ?
ከጌታችሁም ጸጋዎች በየትኛው ታስተባብላላችሁ ?

is it you who cultivate it , or is it we who develop it ?
እናንተ ታበቅሉታላችሁን ? ወይስ እኛ አብቃዮቹ ነን ?

is it such a message that ye would hold in light esteem ?
በዚህ ንግግር እናንተ ቸልተኞች ናችሁን ?

abiding there for ever . happy is it as abode and station !
በእርሷ ውስጥ ዘውታሪዎች ኾነው ( ይስሰጣሉ ) ፡ ፡ መርጊያና መኖሪያይቱ አማረች ፡ ፡

and they will say , ‘ why is it that we do not see [ here ] men whom we used to count among the bad ones ,
ይላሉም « ለእኛ ምን አለን ? ከመጥፎዎች እንቆጥራቸው የነበሩትን ሰዎች ( እዚህ ) አናይምሳ ፡ ፡ »

is it a falsehood - gods beside allah - that ye desire ?
« ለቅጥፈት ብላችሁ ከአላህ ሌላ አማልክትን ትሻላችሁን ?

he said , ‘ it really upsets me that you should take him away , and i fear the wolf may eat him while you are oblivious of him . ’
« እኔ እርሱን ( ዩሱፍን ) ይዛችሁ መሌዳችሁ በእርግጥ ያሳዝነኛል ፡ ፡ እናንተም ከእርሱ ዘንጊዎች ስትሆኑ ተኩላ ይበላዋል ብዬ እፈራለሁ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

say : ' is it other than god you bid me serve , you ignorant ones ? '
« እናንተ መሃይማን ሆይ ! ከአላህ ሌላን እንድግገዛ ታዙኛላችሁን ? » በላቸው ፡ ፡
