ከበጎ ሥራ ማንኛውንም ቢሠሩ አይካዱትም ፡ ፡ አላህም ጥንቁቆቹን ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

or do they say , “ he made it up ” ? rather , they do not believe .
ወይም « ቀጠፈው ይላሉን ? » አይደለም ፤ በእውነቱ አያምኑም ፡ ፡

do they not realize that god tests them once or twice a year but , nevertheless , they do not repent and give it proper thought ?

and whatever good they do , they shall not be denied it , and allah knows those who guard ( against evil ) .

so do they who conspire evils , not fear that allah may bury them in the earth , or that the punishment may come to them from a place they do not know ?
እነዚያ መጥፎዎችን የዶለቱ አላህ በእነሱ ምድርን የሚገለብጥባቸው ወይም ከማያውቁት ስፍራ ቅጣት የሚመጣባቸው መኾኑን አይፈሩምን

their parable is like the parable of one who kindled a fire , but when it had illumined all around him , allah took away their light , and left them in utter darkness-- they do not see .
( በንፍቅና ) ምሳሌያቸው እንደዚያ እሳትን እንዳነደደ ሰው በዙሪያው ያለውን ሁሉ ባበራች ጊዜም አላህ ብርሃናቸውን እንደወሰደባቸው በጨለማዎችም ውስጥ የማያዩ ኾነው እንደተዋቸው ( ሰዎች ) ብጤ ነው ፡ ፡

and had we prescribed unto them : slay yourselves or go forth from your dwellings , they had not done it , save a few of them . and did they do that which they are exhorted to do , it would be for them better and more strengthening .
እኛም በእነርሱ ላይ ፡ - « ነፍሶቻችሁን ግደሉ ወይም ከአገሮቻችሁ ውጡ » ማለትን በጻፍን ኖሮ ከነሱ ጥቂቶቹ እንጅ ባልሠሩት ነበር ፡ ፡ እነርሱም በእርሱ የሚገሰጹበትን ነገር በሠሩ ኖሮ ለነሱ መልካምና ( በእምነታቸው ላይ ) ለመርጋትም በጣም የበረታ በኾነ ነበር ፡ ፡

then do they feel secure that there will not come to them an overwhelming [ aspect ] of the punishment of allah or that the hour will not come upon them suddenly while they do not perceive ?
ከአላህ ቅጣት ሸፋኝ አደጋ የምትመጣባቸው ወይም ሰዓቲቱ እነሱ የማያውቁ ሲኾኑ በድንገት የምትመጣባቸው መኾኑዋን አይፈሩምን

and to rehearse the qur 'an : and if any accept guidance , they do it for the good of their own souls , and if any stray , say : " i am only a warner " .
ቁርኣንንም እንዳነብ ( ታዝዣለሁ ) ፡ ፡ የተመራም ሰው የሚመራው ለእራሱ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ የተሳሳተም ሰው « እኔ ከአስጠንቃቂዎች ነኝ እንጅ ሌላ አይደለሁም » በለው ፡ ፡

and whatever good they do , they will not be denied the meed thereof . allah is aware of those who ward off ( evil ) .

« እነዚህ ሕዝቦቻችን ከእርሱ ሌላ አማልክትን ያዙ ፤ ( እውነተኞች ከኾኑ ) በእነርሱ ላይ ግልጽ ማስረጃን ለምን አያመጡም በአላህም ላይ ውሸትን ከሚቀጣጥፍ ይበልጥ በዳይ ማነው » ( አሉ ) ፡ ፡
