ያለበሳትንም አለበሳት ፡ ፡

and grain covered with husk , and fragrant flowers .
የገለባ ባለቤት የኾነ ቅንጣትም ፡ ፡ ባለ መልካም መዐዛ ቅጠሎችም ( ያሉባት ስትኾን ) ፡ ፡

and faces on that day will be covered with misery .
ፊቶችም በዚያ ቀን በላያቸው ላይ ትቢያ አልለባቸው ፤

and caused them to be covered with that which he covered them with .
ያለበሳትንም አለበሳት ፡ ፡

their garments of liquid pitch , and their faces covered with fire ;

እነሆም፥ ማዕበሉ ታንኳይቱን እስኪደፍናት ድረስ በባሕር ታላቅ መናወጥ ሆነ፤ እርሱ ግን ተኝቶ ነበር።

but their hearts are covered with confusion over this , and they have [ evil ] deeds besides disbelief which they are doing ,
በእውነቱ ( ከሓዲዎች ) ልቦቻቸው ከዚያ ( መጽሐፍ ) በዝንጋቴ ውስጥ ናቸው ፡ ፡ ለእነሱም ከዚህ ሌላ እነሱ ለርሷ ሠሪዎችዋ የኾኑ ( መጥፎ ) ሥራዎች አሏቸው ፡ ፡

if we had made it an angel , we should have sent him as a man , and we should certainly have caused them confusion in a matter which they have already covered with confusion .
( መልክተኛውን ) መልአክም ባደረግነው ኖሮ ወንድ ( በሰው ምስል ) ባደረግነው ነበር ፡ ፡ በእነርሱም ላይ የሚያመሳስሉትን ነገር ባመሳሰልንባቸው ነበር ፡ ፡

as for those who have earned evil deeds : a reward of similar evil , and shame will cover them . they will have no defense against god — as if their faces are covered with dark patches of night .
ለእነዚያም ኃጢአቶችን ለሠሩት የኃጢኣቲቱ ቅጣት በብጤዋ አለቻቸው ፡ ፡ ውርደትም ትሸፍናቸዋለች ፡ ፡ ለእነሱ ከአላህ ( ቅጣት ) ጠባቂ የላቸውም ፡ ፡ ፊቶቻቸው ከጨለመ ሌሊት ቁራጮች እንደ ተሸፈኑ ይኾናሉ ፡ ፡ እነዚያ የእሳት ሰዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡ እነርሱ በውስጧ ዘለዓለም ነዋሪዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

do not render your charities void by reproaches and affronts , like those who spend their wealth to be seen by people and have no faith in allah and the last day . their parable is that of a rock covered with soil : a downpour strikes it , leaving it bare .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! እንደዚያ ገንዘቡን ለሰዎች ማሳየት ሲል እንደሚሰጠውና በአላህና በመጨረሻውም ቀን እንደማያምነው ሰው ምጽዋቶቻችሁን በመመጻደቅና በማስከፋት አታበላሹ ፡ ፡ ምሳሌውም በላዩ ዐፈር እንዳለበት ለንጣ ድንጋይ ኃይለኛም ዝናብ እንዳገኘውና ምልጥ አድርጎ እንደተወው ብጤ ነው ፡ ፡ ከሠሩት ነገር በምንም ላይ ( ሊጠቀሙ ) አይችሉም ፡ ፡ አላህም ከሓዲያንን ሕዝቦች አይመራም ፡ ፡

as for those who have earned evil deeds , evil shall be recompensed with its like . abasement will cover them , they shall have none to defend them from allah as though their faces were covered with parts of the blackness of night .
ለእነዚያም ኃጢአቶችን ለሠሩት የኃጢኣቲቱ ቅጣት በብጤዋ አለቻቸው ፡ ፡ ውርደትም ትሸፍናቸዋለች ፡ ፡ ለእነሱ ከአላህ ( ቅጣት ) ጠባቂ የላቸውም ፡ ፡ ፊቶቻቸው ከጨለመ ሌሊት ቁራጮች እንደ ተሸፈኑ ይኾናሉ ፡ ፡ እነዚያ የእሳት ሰዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡ እነርሱ በውስጧ ዘለዓለም ነዋሪዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

but those who earn evil shall be punished to an equal degree as their evil , and they will be covered with shame , and will have none to protect them against god : their faces shall be blackened as though with patches of the night . they are the people of hell , where they will abide for ever ,
ለእነዚያም ኃጢአቶችን ለሠሩት የኃጢኣቲቱ ቅጣት በብጤዋ አለቻቸው ፡ ፡ ውርደትም ትሸፍናቸዋለች ፡ ፡ ለእነሱ ከአላህ ( ቅጣት ) ጠባቂ የላቸውም ፡ ፡ ፊቶቻቸው ከጨለመ ሌሊት ቁራጮች እንደ ተሸፈኑ ይኾናሉ ፡ ፡ እነዚያ የእሳት ሰዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡ እነርሱ በውስጧ ዘለዓለም ነዋሪዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

and ( as for ) those who have earned evil , the punishment of an evil is the like of it , and abasement shall come upon them-- they shall have none to protect them from allah-- as if their faces had been covered with slices of the dense darkness of night ; these are the inmates of the fire ; in it they shall abide .
