by those who draw [ it ] out gently ,
በቀስታ መምዘዝንም መዘዦች በኾኑት ፤

and the earth — he laid it out for mankind .
ምድርንም ለፍጡሩ አደላደላት ፡ ፡

and the earth ! - thereafter he stretched it out .
ምድርንም ከዚህ በኋላ ዘረጋት ፡ ፡

and by the earth and by him who stretched it out ;
በምድሪቱም በዘረጋትም ፤

and the earth ! he hath lain it out for the creatures .
ምድርንም ለፍጡሩ አደላደላት ፡ ፡

by the earth and that ( power ) which spread it out
በምድሪቱም በዘረጋትም ፤

we have spread out the earth , how well we have spread it out ,
ምድርንም ዘረጋናት ፡ ፡ ምን ያማርንም ዘርጊዎች ( ነን ! )

and the earth — we spread it out — how well we prepared it !
ምድርንም ዘረጋናት ፡ ፡ ምን ያማርንም ዘርጊዎች ( ነን ! )

and the earth – we spread it out , and how well have we smoothed it !
ምድርንም ዘረጋናት ፡ ፡ ምን ያማርንም ዘርጊዎች ( ነን ! )

and if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
ወደ ፊትም ብታፈራ፥ ደኅና ነው፤ ያለዚያ ግን ትቈርጣታለህ አለው።

and do not keep your hand tied to your neck , nor spread it out fully , lest you end up liable and regretful .
እጅህንም ወደ አንገትህ የታሰረች አታድርግ ፡ ፡ መዘርጋትንም ሁሉ አትዘርጋት ፤ የተወቀስክ የተቆጨኽ ትኾናለህና ፡ ፡

or the water of your vineyard will be drained deep into the ground so that you will not be able to seek it out . "
ወይም ውሃው ሠራጊ ሊኾን ( ይችላል ) ፡ ፡ ያን ጊዜ ለርሱ መፈለግን ፈጽሞ አትችልም » ( አለው ) ፡ ፡

and the earth , we have made it a wide extent ; how well have we then spread ( it ) out .
ምድርንም ዘረጋናት ፡ ፡ ምን ያማርንም ዘርጊዎች ( ነን ! )

and the earth , how we spread it out , and set on it mountains , and grew in it all kinds of delightful pairs ?
ምድርንም ዘረጋናት ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ውስጥ ጋራዎችን ጣልንባት ፡ ፡ በውስጧም ከሚያስደስት ዓይነት ሁሉ አበቀልን ፡ ፡

and the earth ! we have stretched it out and have cast thereon mountains firm , and we have caused to spring up thereon everything weighed .
ምድርንም ዘረጋናት ፡ ፡ በውስጧም ኮረብታዎችን ጣልናባት ፡ ፡ በውስጧም ( የተለካን ) በቃይ ሁሉ አበቀልንባት ፡ ፡

as for the earth , we have stretched it out and have cast on it firm mountains , and have caused to grow in it everything well-measured .
ምድርንም ዘረጋናት ፡ ፡ በውስጧም ኮረብታዎችን ጣልናባት ፡ ፡ በውስጧም ( የተለካን ) በቃይ ሁሉ አበቀልንባት ፡ ፡

and the earth - we spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [ something ] of every beautiful kind ,
ምድርንም ዘረጋናት ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ውስጥ ጋራዎችን ጣልንባት ፡ ፡ በውስጧም ከሚያስደስት ዓይነት ሁሉ አበቀልን ፡ ፡

whosoever hath been imagining that allah shall not make him victorious in the world and the hereafter , let him stretch a cord up to the heaven and let him cut it , and let him look if his stratagem can do away that whereat he enrageth .
አላህ ( መልክተኛውን ) በቅርቢቱም በመጨረሻይቱም ዓለም አይረዳውም ብሎ የሚያስብ ሰው ገመድን ወደ ሰማይ ይዘርጋ ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ( ትንፋሹ እስኪቆረጥ ) ይታነቅ ፡ ፡ ተንኮሉ የሚያስቆጨውን ነገር ያስወግድለት እንደሆነም ይመልከት ፡ ፡

he who thinks that god will not help him in this world and the next should stretch a rope to the sky then cut it off and see if his mind is relieved ( of doubts ) by this stratagem .
አላህ ( መልክተኛውን ) በቅርቢቱም በመጨረሻይቱም ዓለም አይረዳውም ብሎ የሚያስብ ሰው ገመድን ወደ ሰማይ ይዘርጋ ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ( ትንፋሹ እስኪቆረጥ ) ይታነቅ ፡ ፡ ተንኮሉ የሚያስቆጨውን ነገር ያስወግድለት እንደሆነም ይመልከት ፡ ፡

and the earth ! we have spread it out , and set thereon mountains standing firm , and have produced therein every kind of lovely growth ( plants ) .
ምድርንም ዘረጋናት ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ውስጥ ጋራዎችን ጣልንባት ፡ ፡ በውስጧም ከሚያስደስት ዓይነት ሁሉ አበቀልን ፡ ፡
