ሰማይ ብርቱ መዞርን በምትዞርበት ቀን ( ይኾናል ) ፡ ፡

so we opened the gates of the cloud with water pouring
ወዲያውም የሰማይን ደጃፎች በሚንቧቧ ውሃ ከፈትን ፡ ፡

and were all baptized unto moses in the cloud and in the sea;
ሁሉም ሙሴን ይተባበሩ ዘንድ በደመናና በባሕር ተጠመቁ፤

he will send down upon you the cloud , pouring down abundance of rain :
« በእናንተ ላይ ዝናምን ተከታታይ አድርጎ ይልካል ፡ ፡

do ye bring it down ( in rain ) from the cloud or do we ?
እናንተ ከደመናው አወረዳችሁትን ? ወይስ እኛ አውራጆቹ ነን ?

and those who move ( on the water ) gently ,
ገር ( መንሻለልን ) ተንሻላዮች በኾኑትም ( መርከቦች ) ፡ ፡

and there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, this is my beloved son: hear him.
ከደመናውም። የመረጥሁት ልጄ ይህ ነው፥ እርሱን ስሙት የሚል ድምፅ መጣ።

and he it is who sends the winds as good news before his mercy ; and we send down pure water from the cloud ,
እርሱም ያ ነፋሶችን አብሳሪዎች ሲኾኑ ከዝናሙ በስተፊት የላከ ነው ፡ ፡ ከሰማይም አጥሪ ውሃን አወረድን ፡ ፡

and the clouds bearing a load .
ከባድ ( ዝናምን ) ተሸካሚዎች በኾኑትም ( ደመናዎች ) ፡ ፡

and sent down abundant water from the clouds
ከአረገዙት ደመናዎችም ተንቧቢ ውሃን አወረድን ፡ ፡

and have sent down from the clouds , pouring rain
ከአረገዙት ደመናዎችም ተንቧቢ ውሃን አወረድን ፡ ፡

and allah has sent down water from the cloud and therewith given life to the earth after its death ; most surely there is a sign in this for a people who would listen .
አላህም ከሰማይ ውሃን አወረደ ፡ ፡ በእርሱም ምድርን ከሞተች በኋላ ሕያው አደረገ ፡ ፡ በዚህ ውስጥ ለሚሰሙ ሕዝቦች በእርግጥ ተዓምር አልለ ፡ ፡

and by [ the clouds ] that swim serenely and
መዋኘትም ዋኚዎች በኾኑት ፤

did you send it down from the clouds , or did we send it ?
እናንተ ከደመናው አወረዳችሁትን ? ወይስ እኛ አውራጆቹ ነን ?

by the ones who drive [ the clouds ] vigorously ,
መገሠጽንም በሚገሥጹት ፤

allah is he who sends the winds that stir up the clouds . then , we drive them on to a dead land and revive the earth after it 's death .
አላህም ያ ነፋሶችን የላከ ነው ፡ ፡ ደመናዎችንም ትቀሰቅሳለች ፤ ወደ ሙት ( ድርቅ ) አገርም እንነዳዋለን ፡ ፡ በእርሱም ምድርን ከሞተች በኋላ ሕያው እናደርጋታለን ፡ ፡ ሙታንንም መቀስቀስ እንደዚሁ ነው ፡ ፡

a day when the heaven with the clouds will be rent asunder and the angels will be sent down , a grand descent .
ሰማይም በደመና የምትቀደድበትንና መላእክትም መወረድን የሚወርድበትን ቀን ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡

and we outspread the cloud to overshadow you , and we sent down manna and quails upon you : ' eat of the good things wherewith we have provided you . and they worked no wrong upon us , but themselves they wronged .
በናንተም ላይ ደመናን አጠለልን ፡ ፡ በናተም ላይ ( እንደ ነጭ ማር ያለ ) መንናን እና ድርጭትን አወረድን ፡ ፡ ከሰጠናችሁም ጣፋጮች « ብሉ ( አልን ) ፡ ፡ » አልበደሉንምም ግን ነፍሶቻቸውን ይበድሉ ነበር ፡ ፡

it is god who sends forth the winds so that they raise up the clouds . we drive them to a dead land , and by them bring the earth to life after its death .
አላህም ያ ነፋሶችን የላከ ነው ፡ ፡ ደመናዎችንም ትቀሰቅሳለች ፤ ወደ ሙት ( ድርቅ ) አገርም እንነዳዋለን ፡ ፡ በእርሱም ምድርን ከሞተች በኋላ ሕያው እናደርጋታለን ፡ ፡ ሙታንንም መቀስቀስ እንደዚሁ ነው ፡ ፡

and if you ask them who is it that sends down water from the clouds , then gives life to the earth with it after its death , they will certainly say , allah . say : all praise is due to allah .
ከሰማይም ውሃን ያወረደና በእርሱም ምድርን ከሞተች በኋላ ሕያው ያደረጋት ማን እንደኾነ ብትጠይቃቸው « አላህ ነው » ይሉሃል ፡ ፡ « ምስጋና ለአላህ ነው » በላቸው ፡ ፡ ግን አብዛኞቻቸው አያውቁም ፡ ፡
