አመጸኛም ከሆነ ሰይጣን ሁሉ መጠበቅን ጠበቅናት ፡ ፡

' cast , you twain , into gehenna every froward unbeliever ,
« ሞገደኛ ከሓዲን ሁሉ በገሀነም ውስጥ ጣሉ ፡ ፡ »

and have placed therein a guard against any satan froward .
አመጸኛም ከሆነ ሰይጣን ሁሉ መጠበቅን ጠበቅናት ፡ ፡

they sought a judgment ; then was disappointed every froward tyrant --
እርዳታንም ( ከአላህ ) ፈለጉ ፤ ( ተረዱም ) ፡ ፡ ጨካኝ ሞገደኛ የኾነም ሁሉ አፈረ ፡ ፡

they invoke none but females besides him , and invoke none but a froward satan ,
ከእርሱ ሌላ እንስታትን እንጅ አይገዙም ፡ ፡ አመጸኛ ሰይጣንንም እንጅ ሌላን አይግገዙም ፡ ፡

and leave the wives your lord created for you ? nay , but ye are froward folk .
« ከሚስቶቻችሁም ጌታችሁ ለናንተ የፈጠረላችሁን ትተዋላችሁን በእውነቱ እናንተ ወሰን አላፊዎች ሕዝቦ ናችሁ ፡ ፡ »

hast thou seen if he denieth ( allah 's guidance ) and is froward ?
አየህን ? ንገረኝ ( ከልካዩ ) ቢያስተባብልና ( ከእምነት ) ቢሸሽ ፤

and of mankind is he who disputeth respecting allah without knowledge , and followeth any satan froward .
ከሰዎቹም ያለ ዕውቀት በአላህ ነገር የሚከራከር ፤ ሞገደኛ ሰይጣንንም ሁሉ የሚከተል ሰው አልለ ፡ ፡

among mankind is he who disputeth concerning allah without knowledge , and followeth each froward devil ;
ከሰዎቹም ያለ ዕውቀት በአላህ ነገር የሚከራከር ፤ ሞገደኛ ሰይጣንንም ሁሉ የሚከተል ሰው አልለ ፡ ፡

among the people are those who dispute about allah without any knowledge , and follow every froward devil ,
ከሰዎቹም ያለ ዕውቀት በአላህ ነገር የሚከራከር ፤ ሞገደኛ ሰይጣንንም ሁሉ የሚከተል ሰው አልለ ፡ ፡

servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.
ሎሌዎች ሆይ፥ ለበጎዎችና ለገሮች ጌቶቻችሁ ብቻ ሳይሆን ለጠማሞች ደግሞ በፍርሃት ሁሉ ተገዙ።

have they handed down ( the saying ) as an heirloom one unto another ? nay , but they are froward folk .
በእርሱ ( በዚህ ቃል ) አደራ ተባብለዋልን ? አይደለም ፤ እነርሱ ጥጋበኞች ሕዝቦች ናቸው ፡ ፡

and such were a 'ad . they denied the revelations of their lord and flouted his messengers and followed the command of every froward potentate .
ይህች ( ነገድ ) ዓድ ናት ፡ ፡ በጌታቸው ታምራት ካዱ ፡ ፡ መልክተኞቹንም አመጹ ፤ የኃያል ሞገደኛን ሁሉ ትዕዛዝም ተከተሉ ፡ ፡

and such were ' aad . they gainsaid the signs of their lord , and disobeyed his apostles , and followed the bidding of any tyrant froward .
ይህች ( ነገድ ) ዓድ ናት ፡ ፡ በጌታቸው ታምራት ካዱ ፡ ፡ መልክተኞቹንም አመጹ ፤ የኃያል ሞገደኛን ሁሉ ትዕዛዝም ተከተሉ ፡ ፡

say : pay ( your contribution ) , willingly or unwillingly , it will not be accepted from you . lo ! ye were ever froward folk .
« ወዳችሁም ኾነ ጠልታችሁ ለግሱ ፡ ፡ ከእናንተ ተቀባይ የላችሁም ፡ ፡ እናንተ አመጸኞች ሕዝቦች ናችሁና » በላቸው ፡ ፡

and we make ( this scripture ) easy in thy tongue , ( o muhammad ) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off ( evil ) , and warn therewith the froward folk .
በምላስህም ( ቁርኣንን ) ያገራነው በእርሱ ጥንቁቆቹን ልታበስርበት በእርሱም ተከራካሪዎችን ሕዝቦች ልታስፈራራበት ነው ፡ ፡
