« ወደ ፊትም ለእናንተ የምላችሁን ምክር ( ቅጣትን በምታዩ ጊዜ ) ታስታውሳላችሁ ፡ ፡ ነገሬንም ሁሉ ወደ አላህ አስጠጋለሁ ፡ ፡ አላህ ባሮቹን ተመልካች ነውና ፡ ፡ »

i have taken refuge with my lord and your lord lest you should attack me with stones .
« እኔም እንዳትወግሩኝ በጌታየና በጌታችሁ ተጠብቂያለሁ ፡ ፡

" for me , i have sought safety with my lord and your lord , against your injuring me .
« እኔም እንዳትወግሩኝ በጌታየና በጌታችሁ ተጠብቂያለሁ ፡ ፡

i would go there every day, with my backpack on my back.

« እኔም እንዳትወግሩኝ በጌታየና በጌታችሁ ተጠብቂያለሁ ፡ ፡

and we revealed unto musa saying : go by night with my bondmen verily ye shall be pursued .
ወደ ሙሳም « ባሮቼን ይዘህ ሌሊት ኺድ ፡ ፡ እናንተ የሚከተሉዋችሁ ናችሁና » ስንል ላክን ፡ ፡

" their account is only with my lord , if ye could ( but ) understand .
« ምርመራቸው በጌታዬ ላይ እንጅ በሌላ ላይ አይደለም ፡ ፡ ብታውቁ ኖሮ ( ይህንን ትርረዱ ነበር ) ፡ ፡

' then set thou forth with my servants in a watch of the night ; surely you will be followed .
( ጌታው ) « ባሮቼንም ይዘህ በሌሊት ኺድ ፡ ፡ እናንተ የሚከተሉዋችሁ ናችሁና ፡ ፡

and we revealed to musa , saying : go away with my servants travelling by night , surely you will be pursued .
ወደ ሙሳም « ባሮቼን ይዘህ ሌሊት ኺድ ፡ ፡ እናንተ የሚከተሉዋችሁ ናችሁና » ስንል ላክን ፡ ፡

( allah ) said : " o iblis ! what prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom i have created with my hands ?
( አላህም ) « ኢብሊስ ሆይ ! በሁለት እጆቼ ( በኃይሌ ) ለፈጠርኩት ከመስገድ ምን ከለከለህ ? ( አሁን ) ኮራህን ? ወይስ ( ፊቱኑ ) ከትዕቢተኞቹ ነበርክ ? » አለው ፡ ፡

( he was told ) : “ set out with my servants by night for you will certainly be pursued .
( ጌታው ) « ባሮቼንም ይዘህ በሌሊት ኺድ ፡ ፡ እናንተ የሚከተሉዋችሁ ናችሁና ፡ ፡

" but ( i think ) for my part that he is allah , my lord , and none shall i associate with my lord .
« እኔ ግን እርሱ አላህ ጌታዬ ነው ፤ ( እላለሁ ) ፡ ፡ በጌታዬም አንድንም አላጋራም ፡ ፡

( allah said ) : " depart you with my slaves by night . surely , you will be pursued .
( ጌታው ) « ባሮቼንም ይዘህ በሌሊት ኺድ ፡ ፡ እናንተ የሚከተሉዋችሁ ናችሁና ፡ ፡

( the reply came : ) " march forth with my servants by night : for ye are sure to be pursued .
( ጌታው ) « ባሮቼንም ይዘህ በሌሊት ኺድ ፡ ፡ እናንተ የሚከተሉዋችሁ ናችሁና ፡ ፡
