በጣም እየፈራቸው ነው፡፡

if he is among the near
( ሟቹ ) ከባለሟሎቹ ቢኾንማ ፡ ፡

he is successful who groweth ,
የተጥራራ ሰው በእርግጥ ዳነ ፡ ፡

say , " he is god , the one ,
በል « እርሱ አላህ አንድ ነው ፡ ፡

touched by good , he is ungenerous .
መልካምም ነገር ( ድሎት ) ባገኘ ጊዜ ከልካይ ( ኾኖ ተፈጠረ ) ፡ ፡

say , ‘ he is allah , the one .
በል « እርሱ አላህ አንድ ነው ፡ ፡

and he is the fogiving , the loving ,
እርሱም ምሕረተ ብዙ ወዳድ ነው ፡ ፡

and when good toucheth him he is begrudging .
መልካምም ነገር ( ድሎት ) ባገኘ ጊዜ ከልካይ ( ኾኖ ተፈጠረ ) ፡ ፡

bethinkest thou , if he is himself guided ,
አየህን ? ንገረኝ ( ተከልካዩ ) በትክክለኛ መንገድ ላይ ቢኾን ፤

indeed , he is the hearing , the knowing .
እነሆ እርሱ ሰሚው ዐዋቂው ነውና ፡ ፡

may man be slain – how ungrateful he is !
ሰው ተረገመ ፤ ምን ከሓዲ አደረገው ?

( muhammad ) , say , " he is the only god .
በል « እርሱ አላህ አንድ ነው ፡ ፡

he said , “ if you accept any god other than me , i will make you a prisoner . ”
( ፈርዖን ) « ከእኔ ሌላ አምላክን ብትይዝ በውነቱ ከእስረኞቹ አደርግሃለሁ » አለ ፡ ፡

and allah hath said : take not two gods ; he is only one god so me alone , me dread .
አላህም አለ « ሁለት አማልክትን አትያዙ ፡ ፡ እርሱ አንድ አምላክ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ እኔንም ብቻ ፍሩ ፡ ፡ »

god has said : “ do not take two gods ; he is only one god ; so fear only me . ”
አላህም አለ « ሁለት አማልክትን አትያዙ ፡ ፡ እርሱ አንድ አምላክ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ እኔንም ብቻ ፍሩ ፡ ፡ »

he said , ‘ if you take up any god other than me , i will surely make you a prisoner ! ’
( ፈርዖን ) « ከእኔ ሌላ አምላክን ብትይዝ በውነቱ ከእስረኞቹ አደርግሃለሁ » አለ ፡ ፡

said he , ' if thou takest a god other than me , i shall surely make thee one of the imprisoned . '
( ፈርዖን ) « ከእኔ ሌላ አምላክን ብትይዝ በውነቱ ከእስረኞቹ አደርግሃለሁ » አለ ፡ ፡

" and my brother harun ( aaron ) he is more eloquent in speech than me so send him with me as a helper to confirm me . verily !
« ወንድሜም ሃሩን እርሱ ምላሱ ከእኔ የተባ ነው ፡ ፡ እውነተኛነቴንም የሚያረጋግጥልኝ ረዳት ኾኖ ከእኔ ጋር ላከው ፡ ፡ እኔ ሊያስተባብሉኝ እፈራለሁና ፡ ፡ »

aaron , my brother — he is more eloquent than me in speech . so send him with me as a helper to confirm me , for i fear that they will impugn me . ’
« ወንድሜም ሃሩን እርሱ ምላሱ ከእኔ የተባ ነው ፡ ፡ እውነተኛነቴንም የሚያረጋግጥልኝ ረዳት ኾኖ ከእኔ ጋር ላከው ፡ ፡ እኔ ሊያስተባብሉኝ እፈራለሁና ፡ ፡ »
