ሙሳም ወደ ሰዎቹ የተቆጣ ያዘነ ኾኖ ተመለሰ ፡ ፡ « ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ ! ጌታችሁ መልካም ተስፋን አልቀጠራችሁምን ቀጠሮው በእናንተ ላይ ረዘመባችሁን » ወይስ በእናንተ ላይ ከጌታችሁ ቅጣት ሊወርድባችሁ ፈለጋችሁና ቀጠሮየን አፈረሳችሁን አላቸው ፡ ፡

god makes an example of a town that was secure and at ease , with provisions coming to it abundantly from every quarter . then it showed ingratitude for god 's blessings and god afflicted it with hunger and fear because of what they did .
አላህ ጸጥተኛ ፣ የረካች ፣ ሲሳይዋ ሰፊ ኾኖ ከየስፍራው ይመጣላት የነበረችውንና በአላህ ጸጋዎች የካደችውን አላህም ይሠሩት በነበሩት ኃጢኣት የረኃብንና የፍርሃትን ቅጣቶች ያቀመሳትን ከተማ ( መካን ) ምሳሌ አደረገ ፡ ፡

but if , after coming to terms with you , they break their oaths and revile your belief , fight the leaders of the disbelief for they have no oaths in order that they will desist .
ከቃል ኪዳናቸው በኋላ መሓላዎቻቸውን ቢያፈርሱ ፣ ሃይማኖታችሁንም ቢያነውሩ ፣ የክህደት መሪዎችን ( ከክህደት ) ይከለከሉ ዘንድ ተዋጉዋቸው ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ቃል ኪዳን የላቸውምና ፡ ፡

allah coineth a similitude : a township that dwelt secure and well content , its provision coming to it in abundance from every side , but it disbelieved in allah 's favours , so allah made it experience the garb of dearth and fear because of what they used to do .
አላህ ጸጥተኛ ፣ የረካች ፣ ሲሳይዋ ሰፊ ኾኖ ከየስፍራው ይመጣላት የነበረችውንና በአላህ ጸጋዎች የካደችውን አላህም ይሠሩት በነበሩት ኃጢኣት የረኃብንና የፍርሃትን ቅጣቶች ያቀመሳትን ከተማ ( መካን ) ምሳሌ አደረገ ፡ ፡

yet when we bestow our favours on man , he turns away and becomes remote on his side ( instead of coming to us ) , and when evil seizes him he gives himself up to despair !
በሰውም ላይ ጸጋችንን በለገስን ጊዜ ( ከምስጋና ) ይዞራል ፡ ፡ ጎኑንም ( ከእውነት ) ያርቃል ፡ ፡ ችግርም በነካው ጊዜ ተስፋ ቆራጭ ይኾናል ፡ ፡

( and coming to the prison ) he said : " o joseph the truthful , tell us ( the meaning of ) seven fat cows being devoured by seven lean ones , and seven green ears of corn and seven seared , that i may go back to the people and tell them . "
« አንተ እውነተኛው ዩሱፍ ሆይ ! ሰባትን የሰቡ ላሞች ሰባት ከሲታዎች ላሞች ሲበሉዋቸው ሰባትን ለምለም ዘለላዎችም ሌሎችንም ደረቆች ( በነሱ ላይ ሲጠመጠሙባቸው ያየን ሰው ሕልም ፍች ) ተችልን ፡ ፡ ያውቁ ዘንድ ወደ ሰዎቹ ልመለስ እከጅላለሁና » ( አለው ) ፡ ፡
