ጋኔንንና ሰውንም ሊግገዙኝ እንጅ ለሌላ አልፈጠርኳቸውም ፡ ፡

i did not create the jinn and the humans except that they may worship me .
ጋኔንንና ሰውንም ሊግገዙኝ እንጅ ለሌላ አልፈጠርኳቸውም ፡ ፡

but be it so, i did not burden you: nevertheless, being crafty, i caught you with guile.
ይሁን እንጂ እኔ አልከበድሁባችሁም፤ ነገር ግን ሸንጋይ ሆኜ በተንኰል ያዝኋችሁ።

for i will not see you now by the way; but i trust to tarry a while with you, if the lord permit.
አሁን እግረ መንገዴን ሳልፍ ልጎበኛችሁ አልወድምና፤ ጌታ ቢፈቅደው የሆነውን ዘመን በእናንተ ዘንድ ልሰነብት ተስፋ አደርጋለሁና።

but to israel he saith, all day long i have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.
ስለ እስራኤል ግን። ቀኑን ሁሉ ወደማይታዘዝና ወደሚቃወም ሕዝብ እጆቼን ዘረጋሁ ይላል።

iblis replied , " i did not want to prostrate before a human being whom you have created out of mud-moulded clay " .
« ከሚቅጨለጨል ሸክላ ከግም ጭቃ ለፈጠርከው ሰው ልሰግድ አይገባኝም » አለ ፡ ፡

" it would not be reasonable in me if i did not serve him who created me , and to whom ye shall ( all ) be brought back .
« ያንንም የፈጠረኝን ፤ ወደርሱም የምትመለሱበትን ( ጌታ ) የማልገዛ ለእኔ ምን አለኝ ? » ( አለ ) ፡ ፡

believers , recall god 's favor to you when the army attacked you . we sent a wind and the armies , which you did not see , to support you .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ብዙ ሰራዊት በመጣችባችሁና በእነርሱ ላይ ነፋስንና ያላያችኋትን ሰራዊት በላክን ጊዜ በእናንተ ላይ ( ያደረገላችሁን ) የአላህን ጸጋ አስታውሱ ፡ ፡ አላህም የምትሠሩትን ሁሉ ተመልካች ነው ፡ ፡

he replied : ' i saw what they did not see and seized a handful of dust from the foot print of the messenger and so i cast it this my soul prompted me to do '
ያላዩትን ነገር አየሁ ፡ ፡ ከመልክተኛው ( ከፈረሱ ኮቴ ) ዱካም ጭብጥ አፈርን ዘገንኩ ፡ ፡ ( በቅርጹ ላይ ) ጣልኳትም ፡ ፡ እንደዚሁም ነፍሴ ሸለመችልኝ » አለ ፡ ፡

did they not see that it did not answer them , nor could it bring them any benefit or harm ?
ወደእነሱ ንግግርን የማይመልስ ለእነሱም ጉዳትንና ጥቅምን የማይችል መኾኑን አያዩምን

believers , call to mind allah 's favour to you when enemy hosts invaded you . then we sent against them a wind and hosts that you did not see although allah was observing all that you were then doing .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ብዙ ሰራዊት በመጣችባችሁና በእነርሱ ላይ ነፋስንና ያላያችኋትን ሰራዊት በላክን ጊዜ በእናንተ ላይ ( ያደረገላችሁን ) የአላህን ጸጋ አስታውሱ ፡ ፡ አላህም የምትሠሩትን ሁሉ ተመልካች ነው ፡ ፡

did they not see that it did not give them any answer , nor had it power to do them harm or bring them gain ?
ወደእነሱ ንግግርን የማይመልስ ለእነሱም ጉዳትንና ጥቅምን የማይችል መኾኑን አያዩምን

did they not see that it did not return a word to them , and had no power either to hurt them or to cause them any benefit ?
ወደእነሱ ንግግርን የማይመልስ ለእነሱም ጉዳትንና ጥቅምን የማይችል መኾኑን አያዩምን

and his associate [ satan ] will say , " lord , i did not make him transgress , he had already gone far astray himself . "
ቁራኛው ( ሰይጣን ) « ጌታችን ሆይ ! እኔ አላሳሳትኩትም ፡ ፡ ግን ( ራሱ ) በሩቅ ስሕተት ውስጥ ነበር » ይላል ፡ ፡

do they not see that allah , who created the heavens and earth and did not fail in their creation , is able to give life to the dead ? yes .
ያ ሰማያትንና ምድርን የፈጠረ እነርሱንም በመፍጠሩ ያልደከመው አላህ ሙታንን ሕያው በማድረግ ላይ ቻይ መኾኑን አላስተዋሉምን ? ( በማስነሳት ) ቻይ ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱ በነገሩ ሁሉ ላይ ቻይ ነውና ፡ ፡

the unbelieving council of his nation said : ' we do not see you other than a human like ourselves . we see your followers are none but the lowliest amongst us , and their opinion is not to be considered .
ከሕዝቦቹም እነዚያ የካዱት መሪዎቹ ብጤያችን ሰው ሆነህ እንጂ አናይህም ፡ ፡ እነዚያም እነሱ ሐሳበ ጥሬዎች የሆኑት ወራዶቻችን እንጂ ሌላ ተከትሎህ አናይህም ፡ ፡ ለእናንተም በእኛ ላይ ምንም ብልጫን አናይም ፡ ፡ ከቶውንም ውሸታሞች መሆናችሁን እንጠረጥራችኋለን አሉ ፡ ፡

i did not make them witnesses of the creation of the heavens and the earth , nor of the creation of their own souls ; nor could i take those who lead ( others ) astray for aiders .
የሰማያትንና የምድርን አፈጣጠር አላሳየኋቸውም ፡ ፡ የነፍሶቻቸውንም አፈጣጠር ( እንደዚሁ ) ፡ ፡ አሳሳቾችንም ረዳቶች አድርጌ የምይዝ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡

among you is indeed he who drags his feet , and should an affliction visit you , he says , ‘ it was certainly allah s ’ blessing that i did not accompany them ! ’
ከእናንተም ውስጥ በእርግጥ ( ከዘመቻ ) ወደ ኋላ የሚንጓደድ ሰው አልለ ፡ ፡ አደጋም ብታገኛችሁ ከእነሱ ጋር ተጣጅ ባልኾንኩ ጊዜ አላህ በእኔ ላይ በእርግጥ ለገሰልኝ ይላል ፡ ፡

he said : i saw ( jibreel ) what they did not see , so i took a handful ( of the dust ) from the footsteps of the messenger , then i threw it in the casting ; thus did my soul commend to me
ያላዩትን ነገር አየሁ ፡ ፡ ከመልክተኛው ( ከፈረሱ ኮቴ ) ዱካም ጭብጥ አፈርን ዘገንኩ ፡ ፡ ( በቅርጹ ላይ ) ጣልኳትም ፡ ፡ እንደዚሁም ነፍሴ ሸለመችልኝ » አለ ፡ ፡

" from this , " said joseph , " [ the nobleman ] should know that i did not betray him in his absence , and that god does not guide the plotting of the treacherous .
( ዩሱፍ ) « ይህ ( ጌታዬ ) ሩቅ ሆኖ ሳለ ያልከዳሁት መሆኔን አላህም የከዳተኞችን ተንኮል የማያቃና መሆኑን እንዲያውቅ ነው ፤ » ( አለ ) ፡ ፡
