ብትፈሩም እግረኞች ወይም ጋላቢዎች ኾናችሁ ( ስገዱ ) ፡ ፡ ጸጥተኞችም በኾናችሁ ጊዜ ታውቁት ያልነበራችሁትን እንደ አሳወቃችሁ አላህን አውሱ ( ስገዱ ) ፡ ፡

had god willed , they would not have practiced idolatry . we did not appoint you as a guardian over them , and you are not a manager over them .
አላህም በሻ ኖሮ ባላጋሩ ነበር ፡ ፡ በእነሱም ላይ ጠባቂ አላደረግንህም ፡ ፡ አንተም በእነሱ ላይ ኃላፊ አይደለህም ፡ ፡

but he was not long in coming , and said , " i have learnt something you did not know . i have come to you from sheba with reliable news .
( ወፉ ) ዕሩቅ ያልኾነንም ጊዜ ቆዬ ፡ ፡ አለም « ያላወቅከውን ነገር አወቅኩ ፡ ፡ ከሰበእም እርግጠኛን ወሬ አመጣሁልህ ፡ ፡

believers , recall god 's favor to you when the army attacked you . we sent a wind and the armies , which you did not see , to support you .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ብዙ ሰራዊት በመጣችባችሁና በእነርሱ ላይ ነፋስንና ያላያችኋትን ሰራዊት በላክን ጊዜ በእናንተ ላይ ( ያደረገላችሁን ) የአላህን ጸጋ አስታውሱ ፡ ፡ አላህም የምትሠሩትን ሁሉ ተመልካች ነው ፡ ፡

and if you fear , then ( pray ) on foot or riding . but when you are safe , then remember allah , as he has taught you what you did not know .
ብትፈሩም እግረኞች ወይም ጋላቢዎች ኾናችሁ ( ስገዱ ) ፡ ፡ ጸጥተኞችም በኾናችሁ ጊዜ ታውቁት ያልነበራችሁትን እንደ አሳወቃችሁ አላህን አውሱ ( ስገዱ ) ፡ ፡

and you did not recite before it any book , nor did you transcribe one with your right hand , for then could those who say untrue things have doubted .
ከእርሱ በፊትም መጽሐፍን የምታነብ በቀኝህም የምትጽፈው አልነበርክም ፡ ፡ ያን ጊዜ አጥፊዎቹ በእርግጥ በተጠራጠሩ ነበር ፡ ፡

" on the day when he will call you , and you will answer with his praises and imagine you did not tarry but a while . "
( እርሱም ) የሚጠራችሁና ( አላህን ) አመስጋኞቹ ኾናችሁ ጥሪውን የምትቀበሉበት ጥቂትንም ( ቀኖች ) እንጂ ያልቆያችሁ መኾናችሁን የምትጠራጠሩበት ቀን ነው ፤ ( በላቸው ) ፡ ፡

as we have sent a messenger from your own people to show you evidence about me , to purify you from sins , to teach you the book , give you wisdom and instruct you in that which you did not know ,
በውስጣችሁ ከናንተው የኾነን በናንተ ላይ አንቀጾቻችንን የሚያነብላችሁና የሚያጠራችሁ ፣ መጽሐፍንና ጥበብንም የሚያስተምራችሁ ፣ ታውቁት ያልነበራችሁትንም ነገር የሚያሳውቃችሁ የኾነን መልክተኛ እንደላክን ( ጸጋን ሞላንላችሁ ) ፡ ፡

allah has brought you forth from the bellies of your mothers while you did not know anything . he made for you hearing , eyesight , and hearts so that you may give thanks .
አላህም ከእናቶቻችሁ ሆዶች ምንም የማታውቁ ሆናችሁ አወጣችሁ ፡ ፡ ታመሰግኑም ዘንድ ለእናንተ መስሚያን ማያዎችንም ልቦችንም አደረገላችሁ ፡ ፡

even as we have sent among you an apostle from among you who recites to you our communications and purifies you and teaches you the book and the wisdom and teaches you that which you did not know .
በውስጣችሁ ከናንተው የኾነን በናንተ ላይ አንቀጾቻችንን የሚያነብላችሁና የሚያጠራችሁ ፣ መጽሐፍንና ጥበብንም የሚያስተምራችሁ ፣ ታውቁት ያልነበራችሁትንም ነገር የሚያሳውቃችሁ የኾነን መልክተኛ እንደላክን ( ጸጋን ሞላንላችሁ ) ፡ ፡

and thus we have revealed to you an inspiration of our command . you did not know what is the book or [ what is ] faith , but we have made it a light by which we guide whom we will of our servants .
እንደዚሁም ወደ አንተ ከትእዛዛችን ሲኾን መንፈስን ( ቁርኣንን ) አወረድን ፡ ፡ መጽሐፉም እምነቱም ምን እንደኾነ የምታውቅ አልነበርክም ፡ ፡ ግን ( መንፈሱን ) ከባሮቻችን የምንሻውን ሰው በእርሱ የምንመራበት ብርሃን አደረግነው ፡ ፡ አንተም ወደ ቀጥተኛው መንገድ በእርግጥ ትመራለህ ፡ ፡

and you did not expect that the book would be inspired to you , but it is a mercy from your lord , therefore be not a backer-up of the unbelievers .
መጽሐፉ ወዳንተ መወረዱን ተስፋ የምታደርግ አልነበርክም ፡ ፡ ግን ከጌታህ ችሮታ ( ተወረደልህ ) ፡ ፡ ለከሓዲዎችም በፍጹም ረዳት አትኹን ፡ ፡

( o prophet ) , you did not recite any book before , nor did you write it down with your hand ; for then the votaries of falsehood would have had a cause for doubt .
ከእርሱ በፊትም መጽሐፍን የምታነብ በቀኝህም የምትጽፈው አልነበርክም ፡ ፡ ያን ጊዜ አጥፊዎቹ በእርግጥ በተጠራጠሩ ነበር ፡ ፡

and you held no expectations of the book being sent down upon you , except that it is a mercy from your lord – therefore never support the disbelievers . ( you did not crave for it but trusted in the mercy of your lord ) .
መጽሐፉ ወዳንተ መወረዱን ተስፋ የምታደርግ አልነበርክም ፡ ፡ ግን ከጌታህ ችሮታ ( ተወረደልህ ) ፡ ፡ ለከሓዲዎችም በፍጹም ረዳት አትኹን ፡ ፡

and said those who received knowledge and faith , “ you have indeed stayed in the decree of allah until the day of restoration ; so this is the day of restoration , but you did not know . ”
እነዚያንም ዕውቀትንና እምነትን የተሰጡት « በአላህ መጽሐፍ ( ፍርድ ) እስከ ትንሣኤ ቀን በእርግጥ ቆያችሁ ፡ ፡ ይህም ( የካዳችሁት ) የትንሣኤ ቀን ነው ፡ ፡ ግን እናንተ የማታውቁ ነበራችሁ » ይሏቸዋል ፡ ፡

was it that you did not give any thought to it ( the quran ) ? was it different from what was revealed to your fathers ?
( የቁርኣንን ) ንግግሩንም አያስተነትኑምን ወይስ ለመጀመሪያዎቹ አባቶቻቸው ያልመጣ ነገር መጣባቸውን

" how is it , o iblis , " said ( the lord ) , " you did not join those who bowed in homage ? "
( አላህም ) « ኢብሊስ ሆይ ! ከሰጋጆቹ ጋር የማትኾን ላንተ ምን ምክንያት አለህ » አለው ፡ ፡
