if you are in doubt about what we revealed to you , ask those who read the scripture before you . the truth has come to you from your lord , so do not be of those who doubt .
ወደ አንተም ካወረድነው በመጠራጠር ውስጥ ብትሆን እነዚያን ከአንተ በፊት መጽሐፉን የሚያነቡትን ጠይቅ ፡ ፡ እውነቱ ከጌታህ ዘንድ በእርግጥ መጥቶልሃል ፡ ፡ ከተጠራጣሪዎቹም አትሁን ፡ ፡

allah forbids you from it and warns you not to repeat the like of it forever , if you are believers .
ምእመናን እንደኾናችሁ ወደ ብጤው በፍፁም እንዳትመለሱ አላህ ይገስጻችኋል ፡ ፡

' allah alone has the knowledge ' he said , ' i am sent to deliver to you the message . but i can see that you are ignorant people '
« ዕውቀቱ አላህ ዘንድ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ያን በእርሱ የተላክሁበትንም አደርስላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ ግን እኔ የምትሳሳቱ ሕዝቦች ኾናችሁ አያችኋለሁ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

but if you are in doubt as to what we have revealed to you , ask those who read the book before you ; certainly the truth has come to you from your lord , therefore you should not be of the disputers .
ወደ አንተም ካወረድነው በመጠራጠር ውስጥ ብትሆን እነዚያን ከአንተ በፊት መጽሐፉን የሚያነቡትን ጠይቅ ፡ ፡ እውነቱ ከጌታህ ዘንድ በእርግጥ መጥቶልሃል ፡ ፡ ከተጠራጣሪዎቹም አትሁን ፡ ፡

he said , " you know full well that none has sent down these signs but the lord of the heavens and the earth as eye-opening evidence . indeed , pharaoh , i can see that you are doomed . "
( ሙሳም ) « እነዚህን ( ተዓምራቶች ) መገሰጫዎች ሲኾኑ የሰማያትና የምድር ጌታ እንጂ ሌላ እንዳላወረዳቸው በእርግጥ ዐውቀሃል ፡ ፡ እኔም ፈርዖን ሆይ ! የምትጠፋ መኾንህን በእርግጥ እጠረጥርሃለሁ » አለው ፡ ፡

he said , " only god has the knowledge ( of the coming of such torment ) . i preach to you the message that i have brought , but i can see that you are an ignorant people " .
« ዕውቀቱ አላህ ዘንድ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ያን በእርሱ የተላክሁበትንም አደርስላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ ግን እኔ የምትሳሳቱ ሕዝቦች ኾናችሁ አያችኋለሁ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

o people , if you are in doubt about the resurrection , remember that we first created you from dust , then , from a sperm drop , then from a clot , and then from a bitesize tissue formed and unformed , so that we might clarify for you . we establish in the wombs whatever we will for an appointed term , and then we bring you forth as infants , then you come of age .
እናንተ ሰዎች ሆይ ! ከመቀስቀስ በመጠራጠር ውስጥ እንደ ሆናችሁ ( አፈጣጠራችሁን ተመልከቱ ) ፡ ፡ እኛም ከዐፈር ፈጠርናችሁ ፣ ከዚያም ከፍትወት ጠብታ ፣ ከዚያም ከረጋ ደም ፣ ከዚያም ከቁራጭ ሥጋ ፣ ፍጥረትዋ ሙሉ ከሆነችና ሙሉ ካልሆነች ( ችሎታችንን ) ለናንተ ልንገልጽላችሁ ፈጠርናችሁ ፡ ፡ የምንሻውንም እስከ ተወሰነ ጊዜ ድረስ በማሕፀን ውስጥ እናረጋዋለን ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ሕፃን ሆናችሁ እናወጣችኋለን ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ሙሉ ጥንካሪያችሁን ትደርሱ ዘንድ ( እናሳድጋችኋለን ) ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም የሚሞት ሰው አልለ ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም ከዕውቀት በኋላ ምንንም እንዳያውቅ ወደ ወራዳ ዕድሜ የሚመለስ ሰው አልለ ፡ ፡ ምድርንም ደረቅ ሆና ታያታለህ ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ላይ ውሃን ባወረድን ጊዜ ትላወሳለች ፡ ፡ ትነፋፋለችም ፡ ፡ ውበት ካለው ጎሳ ሁሉ ታበቅላለችም ፡ ፡

they said : ' mighty prince , his father is old , advanced in years , take one of us instead of him . we can see you are amongst the gooddoers '
አንተ የተከበርከው ሆይ ! « ለእርሱ በእርግጥ ታላቅ ሽማግሌ አባት አለው ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ በእርሱ ስፍራ አንደኛችንን ያዝ ፡ ፡ እኛ ከመልካም ሠሪዎች ሆነህ እናይሃለንና » አሉት ፡ ፡

if you are in doubt about the resurrection , remember that we first created you from dust , then from a sperm drop , then from clotted blood , then a lump of flesh , both shaped and unshaped , so that we might manifest to you [ our power ] . we cause what we will to stay in the womb for an appointed time , then we bring you forth as infants and then we cause you to grow and reach full growth .
እናንተ ሰዎች ሆይ ! ከመቀስቀስ በመጠራጠር ውስጥ እንደ ሆናችሁ ( አፈጣጠራችሁን ተመልከቱ ) ፡ ፡ እኛም ከዐፈር ፈጠርናችሁ ፣ ከዚያም ከፍትወት ጠብታ ፣ ከዚያም ከረጋ ደም ፣ ከዚያም ከቁራጭ ሥጋ ፣ ፍጥረትዋ ሙሉ ከሆነችና ሙሉ ካልሆነች ( ችሎታችንን ) ለናንተ ልንገልጽላችሁ ፈጠርናችሁ ፡ ፡ የምንሻውንም እስከ ተወሰነ ጊዜ ድረስ በማሕፀን ውስጥ እናረጋዋለን ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ሕፃን ሆናችሁ እናወጣችኋለን ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ሙሉ ጥንካሪያችሁን ትደርሱ ዘንድ ( እናሳድጋችኋለን ) ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም የሚሞት ሰው አልለ ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም ከዕውቀት በኋላ ምንንም እንዳያውቅ ወደ ወራዳ ዕድሜ የሚመለስ ሰው አልለ ፡ ፡ ምድርንም ደረቅ ሆና ታያታለህ ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ላይ ውሃን ባወረድን ጊዜ ትላወሳለች ፡ ፡ ትነፋፋለችም ፡ ፡ ውበት ካለው ጎሳ ሁሉ ታበቅላለችም ፡ ፡

if you are among the believers and rise ( in the state of war ) to lead the prayer for them , let a party of them stand with you to worship , keeping their arms . when they have performed their prostration , let them go behind you , and let another party who have not prayed , pray with you , remaining on guard and keeping their arms , for the unbelievers love to see you heedless of your arms and your baggage so that they might swoop upon you in a surprise attack .
በውስጣቸውም በኾንክና ሶላትን ለእነርሱ ባስገደድካቸው ጊዜ ከእነሱ አንዲት ጭፍራ ካንተ ጋር ትቁም ፡ ፡ መሣሪያዎቻቸውንም ይያዙ ፡ ፡ በግንባራቸውም በተደፉ ጊዜ ከስተኋላችሁ ይኹኑ ፡ ፡ ( እነዚህ ይኺዱና ) ያልሰገዱትም ሌሎቹ ጭፍሮች ይምጡ ፡ ፡ ከአንተም ጋር ይስገዱ ፡ ፡ ጥንቃቄያቸውንና መሣሪያዎቻቸውንም ይያዙ ፡ ፡ እነዚያ የካዱት ከመሣሪያዎቻችሁና ከጓዞቻችሁ ብትዘነጉና በእናንተ ላይ አንዲትን መዘንበል ቢዘነበሉ ተመኙ ፡ ፡ ከዝናብም የኾነ ችግር በእናንተ ቢኖር ወይም ሕመምተኞች ብትኾኑ መሣሪያዎቻችሁን ብታስቀምጡ በናንተ ላይ ኀጢአት የለም ፡ ፡ ጥንቃቄያችሁንም ያዙ ፡ ፡ አላህ ለከሓዲዎች አዋራጅን ቅጣት አዘጋጀ ፡ ፡

and to madyan ( we sent ) their brother shu 'aib . he said : o my people ! serve allah , you have no god other than him ; clear proof indeed has come to you from your lord , therefore give full measure and weight and do not diminish to men their things , and do not make mischief in the land after its reform ; this is better for you if you are believers :
ወደ መድየንም ( ምድያን ) ወንድማቸውን ሹዓይብን ( ላክን ) ፤ አላቸው ፡ - « ወገኖቼ ሆይ ! አላህን ተገዙ ፡ ፡ ከእርሱ በቀር ምንም አምላክ የላችሁም ፡ ፡ ከጌታችሁ ዘንድ ግልጽ ማስረጃ በእርግጥ መጥታላችኋለች ፡ ፡ ስፍርንና ሚዛንን ሙሉ ፡ ፡ ሰዎችንም አንዳቾቻቸውን ( ገንዘቦቻቸውን ) አታጉድሉባቸው ፡ ፡ በምድርም ውስጥ ከተበጀች በኋላ አታበላሹ ፡ ፡ ይህ ምእምናን እንደኾናችሁ ለእናንተ የተሻለ ነው ፡ ፡ »
