ምእመናን እንደኾናችሁ ወደ ብጤው በፍፁም እንዳትመለሱ አላህ ይገስጻችኋል ፡ ፡

if you have any stratagems [ left ] , try them out against me ! ’

( ፈርዖንም « በተዓምር የመጣህ እንደኾንክ ከውነተኞቹ ከኾንክ እርሷን አምጣት » አለው ፡ ፡

he said , ' the lord of the east and west , and what between them is , if you have understanding , '
( ሙሳ ) « የምሥራቅና የምዕራብ በመካከላቸውም ያለው ነገር ሁሉ ጌታ ነው ፡ ፡ ታውቁ እንደኾናችሁ ( እመኑበት ) » አለው ፡ ፡

believers , if you obey a sect of those who were given the book , they will turn you into unbelievers after you have believed .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ከነዚያ መጽሐፉን ከተሰጡት ሰዎች ከፊሉን ብትታዘዙ ከእምነታችሁ በኋላ ከሓዲዎች አድርገው ይመልሱዋችኋል ፡ ፡

he said , ' the lord of the heavens and earth , and what between them is , if you have faith . '
( ሙሳ ) « የሰማያትና የምድር በመካከላቸውም ያለው ሁሉ ጌታ ነው ፡ ፡ የምታረጋግጡ ብትኾኑ ( ነገሩ ይህ ነው ) ፤ » አለው ፡ ፡

certainly , if you have patience and piety , even if the enemy attacks immediately after this , god will help you with another force of five thousand angels , all splendidly ( and or distinctly marked ) dressed .
« አዎን ብትታገሱና ብትጠነቀቁ ከዚህም ፍጥነታቸው ( ጠላቶቻችሁ ) ቢመጡባችሁ ጌታችሁ ምልክት ባላቸው አምስት ሺህ መላእክት ይረዳችኋል ፡ ፡ »

and if you chastise , chastise even as you have been chastised ; and yet assuredly if you are patient , better it is for those patient .
ብትበቀሉም በርሱ በተቀጣችሁበት ብጤ ተበቀሉ ፡ ፡ ብትታገሱም እርሱ ለታጋሾች በእርግጥ በላጭ ነው ፡ ፡

if you suffer , they shall also suffer like you . but while you have hope ( of success ) from god , they have none .
ሰዎቹንም በመፈለግ አትስነፉ ፡ ፡ ( ስትቆስሉ ) የምትታመሙ ብትኾኑ እናንተ እንደምትታመሙ እነሱም ይታመማሉ ፡ ፡ የማይከጅሉትንም ከአላህ ትከጅላላችሁ ፡ ፡ አላህም ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡

lawful for you are women besides these if you seek them with your wealth for wedlock and not for debauchery . then give those of these women you have enjoyed , the agreed dower .
ከሴቶችም ( በባል ) ጥብቆቹ እጆቻቸሁ ( በምርኮ ) የያዙዋቸው ሲቀሩ በእናንተ ላይ እርም ናቸው ፡ ፡ ( ይህን ) አላህ በናንተ ላይ ጻፈ ፡ ፡ ከዚሃችሁም ( ከተከለከሉት ) ወዲያ ጥብቆች ኾናችሁ ዝሙተኞች ሳትኾኑ በገንዘቦቻችሁ ልትፈልጉ ለእናንተ ተፈቀደ ፡ ፡ ከእነሱም በርሱ ( በመገናኘት ) የተጠቀማችሁባቸውን ሴቶች መህሮቻቸውን ግዴታ ሲኾን ስጧቸው ፡ ፡ ከመወሰንም በኋላ በተዋደዳችሁበት ነገር በእናንተ ላይ ኀጢአት የለም ፡ ፡ አላህ ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነውና ፡ ፡

[ pharaoh ] said , " if you have come with a sign , then bring it forth , if you should be of the truthful . "
( ፈርዖንም « በተዓምር የመጣህ እንደኾንክ ከውነተኞቹ ከኾንክ እርሷን አምጣት » አለው ፡ ፡

and if you have lost any of your wives to the disbelievers and you subsequently obtain [ something ] , then give those whose wives have gone the equivalent of what they had spent . and fear allah , in whom you are believers .
ከሚስቶቻችሁም ወደ ከሓዲዎቹ አንዳቸው ቢያመልጧችሁ ቀጥሎም ብትዘምቱባቸው ለእነዚያ ሚስቶቻቸው ለኼዱባቸው ( ሰዎች ) ያወጡትን ብጤ ስጧቸው ፡ ፡ ያንንም እናንተ በርሱ ያመናችሁበትን አላህን ፍሩ ፡ ፡

he continued , " remember , this one whom you have honored more than me i shall bring him and most of his offspring under my sway if you will give me respite until the day of judgment . "
« ንገረኝ ይህ ያ በእኔ ላይ ያበለጥከው ነውን እስከ ትንሣኤ ቀን ድረስ ብታቆየኝ ዘሮቹን ጥቂቶች ሲቀሩ ወደ ስህተት በእርግጥ እስባቸዋለሁ » አለ ፡ ፡

" the only reason you have to hate us is that we believed in the signs of our lord as they came to us . o our lord , give us sufficient endurance that we may die submitting ( to you ) . "
« የጌታችንም ተዓምራቶች በመጡልን ጊዜ ከማመናችን በቀር ከእኛ አትጠላም ፡ ፡ ጌታችን ሆይ ! በእኛ ላይ ትዕግስትን አፍስስ ፡ ፡ ሙስሊሞች ኾነን ግደለን ፡ ፡ »
