እንደዚሁ አላህ በእነዚያ በማያውቁት ሰዎች ልቦች ላይ ያትማል ፡ ፡

be tolerant , and command decency , and avoid the ignorant .
ገርን ጠባይ ያዝ ፡ ፡ በመልካምም እዘዝ ፡ ፡ ባለጌዎቹንም ተዋቸው ፡ ፡

take to forgiveness and enjoin good and turn aside from the ignorant .

« እናንተ ከሴቶች አልፋችሁ ወንዶችን ለመከጀል ትመጣላችሁን በእውነቱ እናንተ የምትሳሳቱ ሕዝቦች ናቸሁ ፡ ፡ »

[ o prophet ! ] show forgiveness , enjoin equity , and avoid the ignorant .
ገርን ጠባይ ያዝ ፡ ፡ በመልካምም እዘዝ ፡ ፡ ባለጌዎቹንም ተዋቸው ፡ ፡

he said : remember ye that which ye did unto yusuf and his brother while ye were ignorant ?
« እናንተ የማታውቁ በነበራችሁ ጊዜ በዩሱፍና በወንድሙ ላይ የሰራችሁትን ግፍ ዐወቃችሁን » አላቸው ፡ ፡

and the bondmen of the compassionate are those who walk upon the earth meekly and when the ignorant address them , they say peace
የአልረሕማንም ባሮች እነዚያ በምድር ላይ በዝግታ የሚኼዱት ፣ ባለጌዎችም ( በክፉ ) ባነጋገሩዋቸው ጊዜ ሰላም የሚሉት ናቸው ፡ ፡

and will not say that the book was revealed only to two groups of people before you , or that you were ignorant of its knowledge ,
« ( ያወረድነውም ) መጽሐፍ የተወረደው ከፊታችን በሁለቱ ጭፍሮች ላይ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ እኛም ከንባባቸው ዘንጊዎች ነበርን » እንዳትሉ ነው ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , say , " ignorant ones , do you command me to worship things other than god
« እናንተ መሃይማን ሆይ ! ከአላህ ሌላን እንድግገዛ ታዙኛላችሁን ? » በላቸው ፡ ፡

but i will not drive away those who have faith : they will indeed encounter their lord . but i see that you are an ignorant lot .
« ሕዝቦቼም ሆይ ! በርሱ ( በተላክሁበት ማድረስ ) ላይ ገንዘብን አልጠይቃችሁም ፡ ፡ ምንዳዬ በአላህ ላይ እንጂ በሌላ ላይ አይደለም ፡ ፡ እኔም እነዚያን ያመኑትን አባራሪ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ጌታቸውን የሚገናኙ ናቸውና ፡ ፡ ግን እኔም የምትሳሳቱ ሕዝቦች ሆናችሁ አያችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ »

say , ‘ will you , then , bid me to worship other than allah , o you ignorant ones ? ! ’
« እናንተ መሃይማን ሆይ ! ከአላህ ሌላን እንድግገዛ ታዙኛላችሁን ? » በላቸው ፡ ፡

allah responded : ' the prayer of the two of you is accepted . so keep steadfast , and do not follow the path of the ignorant .
( አላህም ) « ጸሎታችሁ በእርግጥ ተሰምታለች ፡ ፡ ቀጥም በሉ ፡ ፡ የእነዚያንም የማያውቁትን ሰዎች መንገድ አትከተሉ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

he said : the knowledge is only with allah , and i deliver to you the message with which i am sent , but i see you are a people who are ignorant .
« ዕውቀቱ አላህ ዘንድ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ያን በእርሱ የተላክሁበትንም አደርስላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ ግን እኔ የምትሳሳቱ ሕዝቦች ኾናችሁ አያችኋለሁ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

he said , “ the knowledge is only with god , and i inform you of what i was sent with ; but i see you are an ignorant people . ”
« ዕውቀቱ አላህ ዘንድ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ያን በእርሱ የተላክሁበትንም አደርስላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ ግን እኔ የምትሳሳቱ ሕዝቦች ኾናችሁ አያችኋለሁ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

adopt [ a policy of ] excusing [ the faults of people ] , bid what is right , and turn away from the ignorant .
