አንቀጾቹ በእናንተ ላይ በእርግጥ ይነበቡላችሁ ነበር ፡ ፡ በተረከዞቻችሁም ላይ ወደ ኋላችሁ ትመለሱ ነበራችሁ ፡ ፡

call on your lord , humbly and secretly ; he loves not transgressors .
ጌታችሁን ተዋርዳችሁ በድብቅም ለምኑት ፡ ፡ እርሱ ወሰን አላፊዎችን አይወድምና ፡ ፡

call on your lord with humility and in secret , he does not love the transgressors :
ጌታችሁን ተዋርዳችሁ በድብቅም ለምኑት ፡ ፡ እርሱ ወሰን አላፊዎችን አይወድምና ፡ ፡

call on your lord in humility and in secrecy ; verily he approveth not the trespassers .
ጌታችሁን ተዋርዳችሁ በድብቅም ለምኑት ፡ ፡ እርሱ ወሰን አላፊዎችን አይወድምና ፡ ፡

believers , always be well prepared and on your guard . march in small groups or all together .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ጥንቃቄያችሁን ያዙ ፡ ፡ ክፍልፍልም Ñድ ሆናችሁ ( ለዘመቻ ) ውጡ ፡ ፡ ወይም ተሰብስባችሁ ውጡ ፡ ፡

" my signs used to be rehearsed to you , but ye used to turn back on your heels-
አንቀጾቹ በእናንተ ላይ በእርግጥ ይነበቡላችሁ ነበር ፡ ፡ በተረከዞቻችሁም ላይ ወደ ኋላችሁ ትመለሱ ነበራችሁ ፡ ፡

but you went back ( on your word ) , and but for the mercy and grace of god you were lost .
ከዚያም ከዚህ በኋላ ( ኪዳኑን ) ተዋችሁ ፡ ፡ በናንተም ላይ የአላህ ችሮታና እዝነቱ ባልነበረ ኖሮ በእርግጥ ከጠፊዎቹ በኾናችሁ ነበር ፡ ፡

allah does not forbid you to be kind and to act justly to those who have neither made war on your religion nor expelled you from your homes . allah loves the just .
ከእነዚያ በሃይማኖት ካልተጋደሏችሁ ከአገሮቻችሁም ካላወጡዋችሁ ( ከሓዲዎች ) መልካም ብትውሉላቸውና ወደእነርሱ ብታስተካክሉ አላህ አይከለክላችሁም ፡ ፡ አላህ ትክክለኞችን ይወዳልና ፡ ፡

he answered : ' because you have caused me to go astray , i will waylay them as they walk on your straight path ,
« ስለአጠመምከኝም ለእነርሱ በቀጥተኛው መንገድ ላይ በእርግጥ እቀመጥባቸዋለሁ » አለ ፡ ፡

always be on your guard against encounters . then ( as circumstance demands ) either advance in detachments or advance in a body .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ጥንቃቄያችሁን ያዙ ፡ ፡ ክፍልፍልም Ñድ ሆናችሁ ( ለዘመቻ ) ውጡ ፡ ፡ ወይም ተሰብስባችሁ ውጡ ፡ ፡

[ to sit ] on [ your ] right and [ your ] left in separate groups ?
ከቀኝና ከግራ ክፍልፍል ጭፍሮች ሲኾኑ ፡ ፡

' our lord , fulfil what you promised to us through your messengers , and disgrace us not on the day of resurrection ; indeed you never go back on your promise .
« ጌታችን ሆይ ! በመልክተኞችህም ላይ ተስፋ ቃል ያደረግክልንን ስጠን ፡ ፡ በትንሣኤ ቀንም አታዋርደን ፡ ፡ አንተ ቀጠሮን አታፈርስምና » ( የሚሉ ናቸው ) ፡ ፡

and muhammad is naught but an apostle ; apostles have surely passed away before him . will ye then , if he dieth or be slain , turn round on your heels !
ሙሐመድም ከበፊቱ መልክተኞች በእርግጥ ያለፉ የኾነ መልክተኛ እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም ፡ ፡ ታዲያ ቢሞት ወይም ቢገደል ወደ ኋላችሁ ትገለበጣላችሁን ወደኋላው የሚገለበጥም ሰው አላህን ምንም አይጎዳም ፡ ፡ አላህም አመስጋኞቹን በእርግጥ ይመነዳል ፡ ፡

" call on your lord , " they said , " to name its variety , as cows be all alike to us . if god wills we shall be guided aright . "
« ለኛ ጌታህን ጠይቅልን ፤ እርሷ ምን እንደኾነች ይግለጽልን ፤ ከብቶች በኛ ላይ ተመሳሰሉብን ፡ ፡ እኛም አላህ የሻ እንደኾነ በእርግጥ ተመሪዎች ነን » አሉ ፡ ፡
