ትንሽ ነኝ

none but god can avert it .
ለእርሷ ከአላህ ሌላ ገላጭ የላትም ፡ ፡

none besides god can unveil it .
ለእርሷ ከአላህ ሌላ ገላጭ የላትም ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , say , " he is the only god .
በል « እርሱ አላህ አንድ ነው ፡ ፡

i am the only god . worship me and be steadfast in prayer to have my name always in your mind .
« እኔ አላህ እኔ ነኝ ያለ እኔ አምላክ የለምና ተገዛኝ ፡ ፡ ሶላትንም ( በእርሷ ) እኔን ለማውሳት ስገድ ፡ ፡

besides god ? can they help you , or help themselves ? ”
« ከአላህ ሌላ ሲኾኑ ይረዱዋችኋልን ወይስ ( ለራሳቸው ) ይርረዳሉን »

ምስጋናም ለዓለማት ጌታ ለአላህ ይሁን ፡ ፡

it is only god who deserves all praise . i praise him for his giving me my sons ishmael and isaac during my old age .
« ለእዚያ ከሽምግልና በኋላ ኢስማዒልን ኢስሐቅንም ለእኔ ለሰጠኝ አላህ ምሰጋና ይገባው ፡ ፡ ጌታዬ ልመናን በእርግጥ ሰሚ ነውና ፡ ፡

or lest it should say , ' if only god had guided me , i should have been or lest among the godfearing , '
ወይም « አላህ በመራኝ ኖሮ ከሚጠነቀቁት እኾን ነበር » ማለቷን ( ለመፍራት ) ፡ ፡

it is only god , lord of the heavens and the earth and lord of the universe who deserves all praise .
ምስጋናም ለአላህ ለሰማያት ጌታ ለምድርም ጌታ ለዓለማት ጌታ የተገባው ነው ፡ ፡

god is the most exalted king and the supreme truth . he is the only god and the lord of the gracious throne .
የእውነቱም ንጉስ አላህ ከፍተኛነት ተገባው ፡ ፡ ከእርሱ ሌላ አምላክ የለም ፡ ፡ የሚያምረው ዐርሽ ጌታ ነው ፡ ፡

have you seen him who has taken his own desire to be his god ? can you be a guardian over him ?
ፍላጎቱን አምላኩ አድርጎ የያዘውን ሰው አየህን አንተ በእርሱ ላይ ጠባቂ ትኾናለህን

ብትጠሩዋቸው ጥሪያችሁን አይሰሙም ፡ ፡ ቢሰሙም ኖሮ ለእናንተ አይመልሱላችሁም ፡ ፡ በትንሣኤም ቀን ( እነርሱን በአላህ ) ማጋራታችሁን ይክዳሉ ፡ ፡ እንደ ውስጠ ዐዋቂው ማንም አይነግርህም ፡ ፡

have you ever considered the case of the person who has made his lust his god ? can you take the responsibility of guiding such a one aright ?
ፍላጎቱን አምላኩ አድርጎ የያዘውን ሰው አየህን አንተ በእርሱ ላይ ጠባቂ ትኾናለህን

he is the only god and it is only he who deserves to be given thanks in this world and in the life to come . judgment is in his hands and to him you will all return .
እርሱም አላህ ነው ፡ ፡ ከእርሱ ሌላ አምላክ የለም ፡ ፡ ምስጋና በመጀመሪያይቱም በመጨረሻይቱም ዓለም ለእርሱ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ፍርዱም የእርሱ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ወደእርሱም ትመለሳላችሁ ፡ ፡

አላህም በእውነት ይፈርዳል ፡ ፡ እነዚያም ከእርሱ ሌላ የሚግገዟቸው በምንም አይፈርዱም ፡ ፡ አላህ እርሱ ሰሚው ተመልካቹ ነው ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , people ask you about the day of judgment . say , " only god has knowledge about it .
ሰዎች ከሰዓቲቱ ይጠይቁሃል ፡ ፡ « ዕውቀትዋ አላህ ዘንደ ብቻ ነው ፤ » በላቸው ፡ ፡ የሚያሳወቅህም ምንድን ነው ! ሰዓቲቱ በቅርብ ጊዜ ልትኾን ይከጀላል ፡ ፡

those who do not know say , “ if only god would speak to us , or a sign would come to us . ” thus said those who were before them .
እነዚያም የማያውቁት ( አንተ መልክተኛ ስለመኾንህ ) አላህ አያናግረንም ኖሮአልን ? ወይም ( ለእውነተኛነትህ ) ታምር አትመጣልንም ኖሮአልን ? አሉ ፡ ፡ እንደዚሁ እነዚያ ከነሱ በፊት የነበሩት እንደ ንግግራቸው ብጤ ብለዋል ፡ ፡ ልቦቻቸው ( በክሕደት ) ተመሳሰሉ ፡ ፡ ለሚያረጋግጡ ሕዝቦች አንቀጾችን በእርግጥ አብራርተናል ፡ ፡

hast thou not regarded those who purify themselves ? nay ; only god purifies whom he will ; and they shall not be wronged a single date-thread .
ወደእነዚያ ነፍሶቻቸውን ወደ ሚያጠሩት ( የሚያወድሱት ) አላየህምን አይደለም ፤ አላህ የሚፈልገውን ያጠራል ፡ ፡ የተምር ፍሬ ክር ያህልም አይበደሉም ፡ ፡
