እኩያዎች የኾኑ ጡተ ጉቻማዎችም ፡ ፡

and buxom maidens of a like age ,
እኩያዎች የኾኑ ጡተ ጉቻማዎችም ፡ ፡

and the shadow of a smoking blaze
ከጥቁር ጭስም በኾነ ጥላ ውስጥ ፡ ፡

and by oath of a passage , written –
በተጻፈው መጽሐፍም ፡ ፡

and he created the jinn of a smokeless fire .
ጃንንም ከእሳት ከኾነ ነበልባል ፈጠረው ፡ ፡

and lo ! thou art of a tremendous nature .
አንተም በታላቅ ጠባይ ላይ ነህ ፡ ፡

this is nothing but the word of a mortal . ”
« ይህ የሰው ቃል እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም ፡ ፡ »

and created the jinn out of a flame of a fire .
ጃንንም ከእሳት ከኾነ ነበልባል ፈጠረው ፡ ፡

and indeed , you are of a great moral character .
አንተም በታላቅ ጠባይ ላይ ነህ ፡ ፡

and no friend will ask [ anything of ] a friend ,
ዘመድም ዘመድን በማይጠይቅበት ቀን ፤ ( መላሽ የለውም ) ፡ ፡

( of ) a fountain therein which is named salsabil .
በውስጧ ያለችውን ሰልሰቢል ተብላ የምትጠራውን ምንጭ ፡ ፡

( the water of ) a spring therein , named salsabil .
በውስጧ ያለችውን ሰልሰቢል ተብላ የምትጠራውን ምንጭ ፡ ፡

( the tribe of ) a ad ’ denied the noble messengers .
ዓድ መልክተኞችን አስተባበለች ፡ ፡

( the tribe of ) a 'ad denied the messengers ( of allah ) .
ዓድ መልክተኞችን አስተባበለች ፡ ፡

( o prophet ) , tell them : “ i do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task ; nor am i given to affectation .
በላቸው « በእርሱ ላይ ምንም ዋጋ አልጠይቃችሁም ፤ እኔም ከተግደርዳሪዎቹ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡
